Why Poly Pills Are Health Fascists Worst Idea Yet

by Profanicus Maximus

The latest plan from the world domination freak medical professions and the fascist Pharmaceutical Corporations is to give ‘polypills’ containing statins (arse dribble drugs), aspirin and blood-pressure-lowering drugs to everybody over 55 to help prevent heart attacks and stroke was criticised at a health conference yesterday. Giving these drugs to people who do noit need them would harm a lot of people and be a “waste of money”, delegates at the conference were told.

It would be much better and more cost effective to give those at higher risk of coronary heart disease a £60 computerised tomography (CT) scan to test whether they really did have hardened arteries, said Prof Allen Taylor.

Plans to give such a combined pill to everybody over a certain age have been around for almost 20 years and you can bet the health fascists still have their looniest scheme yet, to put anti depressants in drinking water supplies on the back burner. Such neo Nazi tactics are beginning to be used in countries including India but then democracy in India is a bigger myth than Star Wars.

Evil Nazi bastardsAdvocates of forced medication say the polypill is needed because only one in five heart disease patients stick to taking multiple pills daily, and the cost of distributing them separately is too high, particularly in poorer countries. The Daily Stirrer cannoty see a problem with lettinmg people die if they can't be arsed taking their medication. The world has too many people as it is so why are the scumsucking spawn of a pox whore's scablice medical professions and their paymasters so eager to keep the ubseless cunts alive.

Prof. Taylor, professor of medicine at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., said a much more targeted approach was needed before medicalising large swathes of the population.

Recent data showed that CT scans for arterial calcium build-up could be extremely useful in gauging the risk of a cardiovascular event.

FAQ's about Polypills

What is a polypill?
A polypill is a combination pill containing a number of drugs, usually taken separately, to reduce the risk of a condition – namely the risk of cardiovascular disease.

What's the idea behind it?
People at higher risk of a heart attack or stroke, or those who have already had such an event, are often prescribed a number of drugs. Firstly, few people take those drugs as they should. Even among those who have had a heart attack or stroke, evidence shows only 20 per cent adhere to their medication.. One advantage of the polypill is that it could dramatically increase the proportion taking their medication properly, as people only have to pop one pill a day. This theory is currently being tested.

Secondly, administering medication separately is expensive, principally because of the doctor’s time needed to see the patient and prescribe the drugs.

Euro zone bailouts in doubt as German taxpayers rebel

by John de Roe
27 August 2010 German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the leading light in the effort to prop up the Euro, European single currency scheme no longer commands enough support in the fragile coalition that governs Federal Germany to push through the necessary laws allocating funds to bail out the bankrupt economic basket cases of southern Europe. This loss of support in the Bundestag for Hausfrau Merkel's centre right Christian Democrat led coalition means Germany is unlikely to provide backing for Europe's revamped rescue machinery, threatening a constitutional crisis in Germany and a fresh eruption of the Euro debt saga.

The German crisis could prove a major setback for the unelected Bureaucrats and financial tycoons who wish to create a global governance system, a collectivist oligarchy in which unelected bureaucrats like the alleged rapist Dominique Strauss Kahn and super - wealthy neo Nazi collectivists like George Soros hold the reins of power and delegate administrative duties to desperate wannabes like Cameron, Sarkozy and Obama, people who would felch a skunk for a pat on the head from the rich and powerful.

In response to the crisis Mrs Merkel has cancelled a high-profile trip to Russia on September 7, the crucial day when the package goes before the Bundestag which will vote on approving funds, and the country's constitutional court which is due to rule on the legality of the EU's bailout machinery.

If the court decides the €440bn rescue fund (EFSF) breaches European Treaty law or undermines German fiscal sovereignty, it risks setting off a financial wildfire across the member states of the monetary union scheme.

The seething discontent in Germany over Europe's debt crisis has spread to all key institutions and state governments of the federal nation. "Hysteria is sweeping Germany " said Klaus Regling, the EFSF's director.

German media reported that the latest unofficial count of votes in the Bundestag shows that 23 members from Mrs Merkel's own coalition plan to vote against the package, including twelve of the 44 members of Bavaria's Social Christians (CSU). This may force the Chancellor to rely on opposition votes, risking a government collapse.

Christian Wulff, Germany's president, stunned the country last week by accusing the European Central Bank of going "far beyond its mandate" with mass purchases of Spanish and Italian debt, and warning that the Europe's headlong rush towards fiscal union strikes at the "very core" of democracy. "Decisions have to be made in parliament in a liberal democracy. That is where legitimacy lies," he said.

With Austria and Holland dead set against further bailouts, Finland and Luxembourg also against but too small in terms of population to make much difference and France, though still clinically solvent facing an imminent downgrade of its credit rating, the burden of any bail our or scheme to purchase the debt of the southern basket case nations would fall on the German taxpayers. It seems the German taxpayers had had their fill of filling the Club Med begging bowl and have no time for the global nation New World Order the oligarchic collectivist are working so frenetically towards.

A CSU document to be released on Monday flatly rebuts the latest accord between Chancellor Merkel and French president Nicholas Sarkozy, saying plans for an "economic government for eurozone states" are unacceptable. It demands treaty changes to let EMU states go bankrupt, and to eject them from the euro altogether for serial abuses.

A day earlier the Bundesbank had fired its own volley, condemning the ECB's bond purchases and warning the EU is drifting towards debt union without "democratic legitimacy" or treaty backing.

Google Chief Slams British School System

by Ian R Thorpe
Schmidt told his audience at the Edinburgh Television Festival where he was giving the keynote MacTaggart lecture, Britain is "throwing away its computer heritage" by allowing humanities to dominate in schools at the expense of science, Eric Schmidt, chairman of Google, has claimed.

Mr Schmidt, who has a degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in computer science, told that he was “flabbergasted to learn that computer science isn’t even taught as standard” in schools in the UK, and that Britain had gradually “stopped nurturing its polymaths. There’s been a drift to the humanities – engineering and science aren’t championed. Even worse, both sides seem to denigrate the other…you’re either a ‘luvvy’ or a ‘boffin’,” he said.

“I saw the other day that on The Apprentice Alan Sugar said engineers are no good at business. Really? I don’t think we’ve done too badly.”

Schmidt is talking through his arse of course. As a former IT manager (with a humanities degree) I can tell him scientists make shit programmers and systems analysts. Google chiefs delude themselves if they think they have created innovative technology. What they created in their Search Engine was technology that lagged way off the pace backed by media hype. The initial success of the company was based on the stupidity of scientists and other nerds, geeks and sad acts. These people saw a search result listing a million web sites containing the search terms and though "Wow, how kool is that, not stopping to consider that nobody has time to go through a million results so any more than fifty is useless. Not only that, Google has never considered relevance, most of their results are not relevant.

In 2010 Google, which employs around 10,000 engineers worldwide including “several hundred” in the UK, turned over $29.3bn. Most of its revenue came from sponsored searches, you know; those links to pages owned by con artists, quack doctors, ponzi schemes and boiler room operators that appear at the top of every results list.

Mr Schmidt, who as head of the web search giant was the first person from outside the broadcast industry ever to have delivered the prestigious MacTaggart, also used the platform to criticize the UK for its track record of growing businesses.

“You need to get better at growing big companies. The UK does a great job of backing small firms and cottage industries but there’s little point on getting a thousand seeds to sprout if they’re then left to wither or get transplanted overseas,” he said. Well better that maybe than sponsoring world domination freaks as the USA has done. Strangely Schmidt did not remind the audience of the time last year when facing criticism over Google's disregard for users privacy he said the company's aim was to go as close to crepy as was possible without crossing the line. Sorry Eric, Google crossed the line years ago and has gone way beyond creepy now. The company's position is fascistic.

Schmidt's appearance was part of a Public relations offensive in response to widespread scepticism of the Evil Empire Google and its unwillingness to pay for the content it monetises, most famously by Rupert Murdoch, chief executive and chairman of News Corporation, and Michael Grade, former chairman of ITV, who described Google and YouTube, which it owns, as a “parasite”. The main threat to Google's bid or world domination however comes from the European Union whose Information Technology commissioner Neely Kroes has demonstrated she is not a fan of Google's tactics of invading people's privacy and then saying, So sue us.

However, Mr Schmidt batted away suggestions Google rather than stealing other peoples' work and copyrights should invest directly in content. “To argue that misunderstands a key point: Google is a technology company…We have neither the ambition nor the know-how to actually produce content on a large scale,” he said. In response to that we all need to say, fine - we will use your search but we will not click on your ads. See how they like it.

New EU Jobs Law Will Derail The UK's Recovery

by Xavier Connolly
Often predicted, never seen, Britain’s economic recovery will be hindered by new European employment laws granting full employment rights to temporary stasff will cost British companies almost £2?billion a year, business leaders have warned.

Business Secretary in the coalition cabinet and senior Liberal Democrat Vince Cable has agreed to a controversial European directive to give agency workers the same rights as full-time employees of British companies.

A Department for Business analysis of the new regulations reveals the change will cost firms more than £1.8 billion a year (estimated), leading to warnings from large employers that they will have to cut jobs.

The new E.U. laws, formulated and passed by unelected bureaucrats, which will give more than one million workers the right to the same holiday time, pay, sick leave, maternity leave and other benefits come into force next month. Under the legislation, agency workers will effectively have to be treated as full-time workers after 12 weeks.

The laws are being introduced despite opposition from chancellor George Osborne who has promised to boost economic growth by cutting red tape and other obstacles facing businesses.

Coalition Ministers have conceded that they have effectively been forced to introduce the “disappointing” laws after pressure from trade unions.

As The Daily Stirrer has said many times before, the step the giovernment has to take before recovery can beging is the first step towards leaving the New World Order European Union.

It is to be hoped some MP will ask Vince Cable to state in the House whether or not this measure is likely to make the recruitment and job seeking processes more difficult and whether it is likely to lead to employers hiring less.

Studies carried out by independent organisations state what we all know already, that more bureaucracy and regulations designed to make Pavolv's Dogs type managements jump through hoops can only make job creation and hiring more difficult in a UK economy already hamstrung by over - regulation, an official obsession with minority rights and the dominance of politically correct thinking. The new law will extend the search time for a new job(in France where these regulations are alread in force that search time is now 86 weeks. So much for the politically correct utopia we are told closer ties with Europe will lead us to.

It has been reported Britain's participation in the new law was agreed by the CBI and the trade unions, on other words a corporatist stitch-up. A liberal, not a corporatist, labour market is essential if this country is to avoid becoming a banana republic like Greece, Portugal and Spain. Clearly, Mr Cable, his fellow Liberal Deomocrats and many senior conservatives are corporatist. A corporate state is not a liberal state. Stalinism, Naziism and Maoism are examples of where the corporate state leads.

Jihad Against Junk Food

http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/brendanoneill2/100102199/this-jihad-against-junk-food-is-driven-by-naked-snobbery-for-the-lifestyles-of-the-lower-orders/
When you hear the words “junk food”, what image comes to mind? I bet it’s greasy hamburgers and chips, maybe fried chicken, pizza, gloopy pink milkshakes, bumper bags of salty crisps, king-size bars of chocolate. But why don’t we think of duck à l’orange, which is easily as fatty as any bag of chips, or foie gras, which is French for “fat liver”, or those posh, fancy Gü chocolate desserts, which are the match of any Mars Bars when it comes to sugar content and calorie count? I’ll tell you why. Because “junk food” is not actually a proper scientific term designed to measure a foodstuff’s dodgy content – rather it’s the term people use to express their disdain and disgust for the eating habits of the lower orders, for all those burger-chompers and chip-eaters who live in “white trash” bits of Britain.

It's typcal isn't it? One rule for the leftie elitists, another for the working class. As if the unfortunate poor haven't enough problems without professional hand wringers wailing and gnashing their teeth about the cheap foods hard up people eat and for the most part enjoy. Ironivally British restaurants are seeing a revival in traditional solid British meals, the kind of stuff that in the 1950s and 1960s the tendy lefties used to harangue the working class for eating because it was not exotic enough. So what have we old gits been telling you since we started The Daily Stirrer? Golbalisation will never work. It only benefits the wealthy elite. Forget about Sidi Barack Hussein Obama and his promises that if we all join hands and sing Kumbiya we can live in a "progressive" utopia. Another Stock Market crash 'could hit within weeks', say bankers

An even worse financial crash than the one triggered by the collapse of Lehman Brothers could be on the way, according to bakers warily watching activity in the credit markets.

Insurance rates to protect against exposure to the debt of several major European banks has now reached levels, going higher than those recorded during financial crisis caused by the US financial group's implosion in 2008.

Credit default swaps, the investement market's equivalent of bookies hedging their bets, involving the bonds of Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and Intesa Sanpaolo, and many other financial institutions sent out warning signals on Wednesday. Credit default swaps (CDS) on RBS were trading at 343.54 basis points, meaning the annual cost to insure £10m of the state-backed lender's bonds against default is now £343,540.

The cost of covering RBS bonds is now higher than it was immediately before the Labour government was forced to step in and rescue the bank in October 2008 by saddling UK taxpayers with most of its toxic debts. This highlights the recent dramatic downturn in sentiment among credit investors towards banks.

"The problem is a shortage of liquidity – that is what is causing the problems with the banks. It feels exactly as it felt in 2008," said a spokesman for a London-based bank.

"I think we are heading for a market shock in September or October that will match anything we have ever seen before," said a senior credit banker at a major European bank.

Such a crisis has long been predicted. The ongoing sovereign debt crisis in the Eurozone among the poorer nations of southern Europe is dragging down the stronger economies that are tied to the European Single Currency system while the the growth of the U. S. governments indebtedness appears to be out of control.

Does Steve Jobs Departure Mean Apple Are About To Fall From The Tree
Rarely has the success of a company been tied to the popularity of its charismatic CEO as much as Apple's. Steve Jobs was Apple, the first time he stepped down the company almost folded. When he returned Apple's fortunes rebounded to the extent that their market capitalisation rivalled that of oil companies. Now Jobs, plagued by ill health in recent years has resigned again. He has already beaten cancer and had a liver transplant but even he it seems cannot conquer the ageing process.

As Jobs resignation was announced Twitterers were on fine form.

“Why the surprise?” he tweeted. “In a recession we should expect Jobs to go.” Another tweet continued in the same vein: “Will the loss of Jobs scare the Stock Markets into another crash?

Some focused on the appointment of Tim Cook as Jobs’s replacement inspired a flurry of puns: “Apple turnover looking good as talented Cook takes over.”

The Daily Stirrer, the creation of an I.T. expert, a financier and an engineer have ben no fans of Apple. The Corporate success since Jobs returned to the helm in 1996 had been built on hype rather than technical efficiency. Where the generic PC running Microsoft Windows could be described as "Not fit for purpose" nobody ever really worked out what the purpose of an Apple gadget was unless it was simply to part the gullible from their money. Still, we wish Steve Jobs a long and happy retirement. His early products, the Apple 2 and the Mac were good even if the Macntosh was nowhere near as advanced as Apple claimed (it was based on a Xerox workstation that was only promoted as an office tool rather than a home computer. Perhaps now we can get back to some objectivity in the technologyu market place with machines that serve some useful purpose rather than people buying whatever they are told is 'cool'. Boiler Room Scammers Given Record Jail Terms

by John de Roe

The Daily Stirrer has warned many times of the corruption and the potential for financial crime facilitated by the light touch regultion of financial markets. We touched on the business of short selling, basically trading in items the seller does not own a few weeks ago (Naked Finance) Now, followinf the exposure of one of the biggest frauds of its type we look at "boiler room" scams.

A team of fraudsters who operated a gigantic boiler room scam ever to be broken by fraud squad officer have been given record jail sentences of 19 years in total.

After a trial at Southwark Crown Court Thomas Wilmot and his two sons Kevin and Christopher were jailed on being found guilty of a £14m deception that involved 16 crime fighting bodies working across 10 national jurisdictions. After an investigation involving police in many countries Tomas Wilmot, 64, the ringleader of the operation, was jailed for nine years. His sons were given sentences of five years each for their multi-million pound scam. A 'boiler room fraud' as it is known in the financial markets involves cold calling potential investors and using high pressure sales techniques to persuade them to invest in non existent companies or financial devices.

His Honour Judge Leonard QC, sentencing, said: "You ran a highly successful enterprise. You deprived many individual investors of substantial amounts of money; for some that was money they could not afford to give up.You sailed so close to the wind in your commercial enterprises it was not a surprise the FSA investigated you."

The court was told that the Wilmots operated an international operation involving 16 different 'boiler room' call centres selling shares to 1,700 victims in the UK. The operation was controlled from the UK but many of the the offices from which calls were made were based in Spain. The scam ran for nearly five years before it was brought to the attention of the Financial Services Agency and then the governing body of the London Stock Exchange.

Tracey McDermott, the FSA's acting director of enforcement, said: "This was a highly sophisticated scam that made use of offshore structures to launder the funds, put distance between the Wilmots and the boiler rooms, and ultimately disguise the nature of the business. That meant what started out as a UK-based FSA investigation had to evolve into a joint, then global, operation to bring the perpetrators to justice."

In total the Wilmots defrauded investors, many of whom were elderly, of £27.5m, resulting in £14m of losses.

Gadaffi Regime Falls But Not Yet

. Though the imminent downfall of a blooddthirsty tyrant is always to be welcomed for the sake of his oppressed people, I caanot understand the unrestrained joy of western "liberals" at the prospect of a bloodbath in Tripoli.

That the western powers have armed the rebels and provided air cover for their advance sets a very dangerous precedent.

And the likelyhood, near certainty in face that Mad Dog Gadaffi is about to be replaced by an even more insance, fanatical bunch of genocidal lunatics should not please anybody. One thing we should remember is Libya had no organised opposition, just a rabble of tribal militias who once the common enemy is gone have shown they will start fighting each other for supremacy.

To see that unthinking moron Barack Hussein Obama preening and posing as he accepted the congratulations of his snake felching sycohants one would think he had led the rebel march on Tripoli himself rather than distanced America from the conflict in response to adverse public opinion polls. Now the slimy little shit is trying to claim the victory while the increasingly nauseating mainstream media in the USA sing his praises saying "Obama's victory in Libya will seal his reelection." The USA is truly fucked up beyond all redemption.

So what happens now the west have deposed a horrible but west friendly dictator?

This is not the beginning of the end, it is the end of the beginning: Churchill.

This guy seems to know a thing or two as well:
"These same institutions produce quite different effects while they are still being fought for; then they really promote freedom in a powerful way. On closer inspection it is war that produces these effects, the war for liberal institutions, which, as a war, permits illiberal instincts to continue." Freidrich Nietzsche.

America's Debt Auction As Washington Sets About Slaying The Monster A week after its historic downgrade by Standard and Poor's, investors have been piling their money into US bonds. With the world's biggest economy averaging growth of just 0.8pc during the first half of the year, America has this month become the latest country to have to walk the tightrope between introducing a measure of fiscal austerity and ensuring the economy doesn't slide into another recession. 'It's a fantastic auction," exclaimed Bill O'Donnell from his desk on Royal Bank of Scotland's vast trading floor in Stamford, Connecticut. It was early Wednesday afternoon and there was nothing fantastic about the state of the stock markets, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down about 200 points as rumours swirled about the health of French banks.

O'Donnell, one of RBS's chief fixed-income strategists, was instead talking about the US government's first sale of 10-year bonds since it dramatically lost its AAA credit rating five days before. The pressure that had built as ...

Concensus on the causes of last week's riots

by Ed Butt I saw a revealing post on The Liberal Conspiracy blog, the web home of UK neo Nazi leftie fuckwits, which summarises what comment writers in the press think are to blame for the recent riots. It's an interesting list, obviously it was posted with the intention of winding up Liberal Conspiracy's following of leftie dopeheads, cokeheads, crackheads, dickheads and fuckwits for their daily Orwellian Two Minutes Hate session ; I can't say that I disagree with any of the conclusions... I could add some more though. Here's the list which I've copied and slightly edited for clarity:

Liberal dogma
No capital punishment
Social engineering programmes
Parliament/judiciary/police
An exaggerated sense of entitlement
Liberal intelligentsia
Family breakdown
Social workers
White liberals
The God of Diversity
Rap music
People who are always screaming 'Racist!'
The Labour and its obsession with politically correct social policies.
Multiculturalism
Cultural relativism
Tight gun laws
Infantilism
Black culture.

Anyone care to disagree?

The most repugnant aspect of left wing media coverage of the riots in Britain has ben the way reports have (rightly) praised Indian, Turkish and Pakistani men for standing shoulder to shoulder armed with cricket and baseball bats and garden tools to protect their homes and businesses from the mob and then (hypocritically) vilified white people as racsist and right wing extremists for doing the same.

The Real Cause Of The Riots: Moral deficiency led by politically correct thinking.

Oh so very predictably the left were quick to try to blame 'poverty' for the outbreak of rioting, arson, violence and general lawlessness that has soiled our British summer. Labour Deputy Leader Harriet Harman aka Little Hattie Harperson even tried to claim the trouble was triggered by the coalition governments decision to increase university tuition fees. That is daft even by Hattie's usual impeccable standard of stupidity.

Many of the rioters were from affluent middle class families and even if we look at those from homes lower down the income scale, poverty is relative and by global standards they are well off compared to the poor of Africa, Asia, South America or even southern Europe. You can see this in the early lists of people brought before the courts,: among them a millionaire’s privately educated educated daughter, children of doctors, accountants and other well paid professionals, an estate agent and most incongruously a ballerina.

These are the unusual cases but illustrative of the fact that the rioters and looters are not drawn from one social class or one ethnicity. Most of those taking part in the riots – and most of those arrested – were from what by British standards are poor backgrounds. But that’s not to say poverty has turned them to violence.

Poverty and a tendency to violence, or criminality, are separate characteristics that may often be found together, but they are not inexorably linked. For those who like everything to be 'scientific' this can be observed in the fact that most poor people live quite passive lives, either accepting of their lot or too lacking in aspiration to do anything about it beyond feel a dull resentment. But most are simply accepting of their lot. I remember the great (in eery sense of the word) soul singer Solomon Burke, in one of his final appearances in Britain, talking about his childhood in one of the industrial cities of the USA. "Yes, we were poor," he told interviewer Jools Holland, "but we did not know we were poor. We ate well and my mother made s ure we had dessert every day, even if it was only Jello."

Statistically (again for those who have an emotional need for everything to be scientific) areas with the lowest average incomes in Britain also have the lowest crime rates. Rural communities in Wales, West and South West England, the north and Scotland and also, in numerous sociological studies, people express a far higher level of satisfaction with their lives despite low incomes and lower material standards.

It is enormously insulting to the non-violent poor to suggest that, just because they lack certain assets, their quality of life will be lower. By extension, the suggestion – put forward this week by uber - lefties Harriet Harman and Ken Livingstone - that a cut to public services will turn people bad is equally insulting. It also shows the intellectual bankruptcy of the left when the only solution they can offer in higher public spending from a government already bankrupted by thirteen years of fiscal incompetence from a left wing Labour government.

The best moral values can be found in the poorest households, and sometimes, the worst in the richest, even if money can be an effective prophylactic against criminal behaviour.

The riots may have happened in the some of poorer parts of London (Tottenham, where it began is a very poor area by London standards, Ealing which saw some of the worst looting and destruction is one of the more affluent suburbs of west London. In Manchester and Birmingham the unrest predominantly involved the poor; but it wasn’t poverty that made them steal and fight. It was immorality.

Where does this immorality stem from. A likely place is the state run school system. The politically correct ideology inculcated by a curriculum hijacked and politicised by supporters of the loony left breeds a sense of victimhood, is an 'us against them' attitude which perceives 'them' as anybody loosely connected to authority. In some of the worst areas of social decay, the disastrous social housing projects built in the 1950s and 60s it is routine for paramedic and fire fighters attending emergencies to be attacked by mobs formed from the neighbours of the very people who need help.

The problem here is that the socially bleak and barren landscape of such well intentioned but utterly misguided attempts at social engineering ripped the heart out of natural communities and lumped people of one social class and one income bracket together. The very people who now talk rabidly about multiculturalism and diversity were, early in their political careers, stamping into the ground the diversity that breeds tolerance and promotes morality by mixing together people of diffferent cultural, religious and social backgrounds.

Climate Scientists versus Free Speech and Freedom Of Information

Climate Scientists versus Freedom
From: Watts Up With That
This week four groups, whose boards represent a distinctly liberal world view and who oppose scrutiny of taxpayer-funded science by academics, asked the University of Virginia to disregard its agreement before the court with American Tradition Institute to provide the records of former climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann, which belong to the public. The groups, led by the far-left Union of Concerned Scientists, sent a letter to University president Teresa Sullivan on Tuesday complaining the agreement gives ATI’s in-house lawyers “needless access” to documents its Environmental Law Center requested, and the agreement “threatens the principles of academic freedom protecting scholarly research.”

Response to Union of Concerned Scientists, et al, from ATI Environmental Law Center director Dr. David Schnare:
“The groups seek to have the court find a non-existent ‘academic freedom’ exemption, and also claim there is a so-called ‘balance’ between academic freedom and public accountability, which is similarly imaginary. The court’s, and UVA’s, only fealty is to follow the law, which our agreement reflects.

The problem with these secretive scientists is that in their attempts to conceal the true nature of their fraudulent 'research' from the public by using they the "You must never question authority" argument they are simply trying to hide their Nazi tendencies in the closet without having understood that the closet door is transparent and we can see right through their attempts to occupy the moral high ground.

Anybody who claims to be acting from altruistic motives and to have discovered something that will save the world from impending catastrophe must surely be aware of the parallels that must be drawn with Blofeld / Dr. Evil if they are unwilling to reveal how they arrived at their astounding discovery.

Cameron's Speech On Riots Focuses On Responsibility

With parliament recalled from recess, David Cameron stood at the despatch box to stamp out a crisis. Cameron's statement went on for almost three hours today but set the right tone of repugnance at recent events combined with a determiniation to tackle the decay in social values. To be fair Ed Milliband's response was equally sober and on target and free from any hint of the political points scoring we associate with politicians in opposition.
Cameron's Speech On Riots Focuses On Responsibility

10 August 2011

Sick Society Or Sick System

David Cameron today blamed the rioting and looting that has spread around the country over the past few days on 'a sick society.' The Daily Stirrer's View is there is little wrong with 'society that a couple of aspirins and a day off would not put right. The sickness lies in the system by which our lives are governed ... and by this we do not mean Parliament and the government. The whole system is sick from the top, the cabinet ministers, senior civil servants and Captains of Thievery Industry and business, down to the jobsworths who are too eager to enforce petty and pointless regulations and far too reluctant to think, make decisions based on circumstances and actually get some work don, to the people whoring in hospitals, local councils and government departments whose job may be pushing a brush or schlepping boxes but who are far too ready to scream about their rights in order to get out of doing anything they don't want to do.

The justice system is sick, far too many left wing activists are employed as judges or lawyers and we see on a day to day basis these people have no qualms about letting their political prejudices get in the way of objectivity. The police are constantly undermined and embarrassed by the eagerness of the justice system to protect the 'interests' of disadvantaged minorities who are not disadvantaged in any was other than in their own distorted perception.

Merely swapping the coalition for another Labour government, a Conservative government with an overall majority or even a wider coalition would serve no purpose. Politicians have lost touch with the electorate and with reality. While leaders of all three parties push the European Superstate agenda and the plan to extend the European Community to take in nations of the middle east and north African, the electors of most nations in Europe find the idea of surrendering national sovereignty to unelected bureaucrats abhorrent. The Irish, the only European voters to be given a chance to vote on the pernicious Lisbon treaty, a watered down version of the European Constitution which was resoundingly rejected by voters wherever a referendum was held. Irish voters rejected ratification of the treaty. Ireland however is a small nation and not as economically powerful as France or Holland, the two countries that voted down the constitution so the Irish were in effect told they had got it wrong and would have to hold another referendum and if they did not vote 'yes' they would have to keep voting until they did. The delusional idiots, the bubble dwellers, of political and national government saw nothing wrong with this but it was recognised by voters everywhere as an attack on democracy.

From this example we know that whichever combination of the mainstream parties we have in power they will do what the Burghermeisters of the Brussels European village tell them.

Similarly with justice. In principle we are all equal under the law buy you will find out exactly how unequal you are if a black or Asian person, a turd burglar or rug muncher, a feminist or a disabled person imagines you have insulted or demeaned them. The system which bends over backwards to protect the 'rights' of murderers, paedophiles, thieves, extortionists and all manner of truly evil people. Yet if you are a law abiding citizen who acts to protect your family or property because faith in the ability of the police to protect ordinary people by dealing appropriately with thugs and criminals has collapsed, the wrath of the law will descend on you.

These are a few examples of how the sick system is infecting society with it's perverted, politically correct perception of reality. Cameron may deliver an engaging one liner occasionally but we must remember it was during his party's eighteen years in power that the beating heart was ripped out of communities, traditional industries were destroyed and selfishness was made a virtue. This should not be read as an endorsement of Labour, in their thirteen years of power just as much progress was made in unravelling the fabric of society and handing disproportionate influence to unrepresentative minorities in the mane of 'diversity' and 'multiculturalism.'

The Liberal Democrats are an unknown quantity but show every sign of incorporating the worst aspects of the two larger parties. That is where the root of the infection lies, we have no leadership.

Big News Today In The Tottrenham Riot
We who bring you the Dsaily Stirrer evrey ... ahem, well most days, have been wondering for a while when the simmering anger and resentment that is the mood in the streets of our towns and cities would explode into violence.

Police prepare for more trouble

The trigger for this violence was the shooting of a local man a few days ago. The real cause however is not over zealous policing, rising prices, the financial meltdown, joblessness or any of the oyther things being bandied about by media hacks. It is the fustration of ordinary people at the increasingly remote, detatached and completrely out of touch behaviour of the people who are supposed to be running things.

That being the case we can expect a lot more rioting, disorder and disruption until the politicians, business leaders and bureaucrats get their arses in gear and start trying to understand what life is like in the reality those outside the bubble must live with every day.

The Eurozone Financial Crisis Made Simple

by John de Roe
Completely predictably the leaders of Eurozone's solvent nations have cobbled together a deal to save the beleaguered Greek economy from defaulting on its debts. Predicable because firstly if Greece had been allowed to default and quietly leave the single currency scheme as it should have been, then Ireland, Portugal and probably Italy, Spain and Belgium would have followed in close order. So again we saw TV pictures of the smiling front men and woman led by Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy arriving at an anonymous and stereotyped office in Brussels, grinning like idiots as the promised to "work together to find a solution to Greece's problem. The jargon of international finance debt-to-GDP ratios, bond yields, haircuts, and deficit levels made even the rush hour traffic fumes seem only a minor pollutant, but what does it all mean?

Imagine someone you know who is not really poor but not exactly rich either. Their annual income is £20,000, below the national average for individuals but better than being on the dole or burger flipping and shelf stacking for minimum wage.. Now let's assume your pretend neighbour has run up personal debts of £30,000 over the years, and told a few porkies1 along the way to get their credit card limit raised and obtain a bank loan for a car and overdraft facilities to finance an extravagant lifestyle. Finally however the bank and the credit card company company have spotted that the neighbour is no longer borrowing to pay for cars, 60" Plasma TVs, foreign travel and such but is borrowing to finance living expenses and pay the interest on existing debts. Naturally the financiers have turned awkward, refusing any more credit and demanding that the loans be paid off at an interest rate of 40%-plus.

The next step is they will send in Lefty and the boys.

Your neighbour is not Joe the regular bloke but Greece, a small country that is better off than Bulgaria but not as well off as Germany. Greece's debt is running at 150% of national income and where there is not the remotest hope of turning the financial position around. Here a little insight into the workings of bond markets is needed. Traditionally Treasury Bonds were issues in E1000 (face value) units, redeemable at three or ten years and for treasuries usually at an interest rate of between 3% and 4% on face value. The Bonds are sold at a premium of discount (a price above or below face value) based on the economic stability of the nation and the prospects of inflation eroding the value. Calculate the interest due on the face value as a percentage of the actual price paid to determine the yield.

Greece's bonds are currently being sold at heavily discounted prices with twelve month and six month redemption dates at an interest rate of around 15% on face value. The face value versus actual price arithmetic gives us yields in the region of 40%. Unreasonable? Not really when the likelihood of default and the predicted levels of inflation are taken into account.

In similar circumstances, an individual would respond in two ways. They would try to boost their income, perhaps by doing a bit of moonlighting as a cab driver, prostitute or waiting on tables and maybe tighten their belts and cut down on living expenses. Or they would apply for a bankruptcy order, in effect defaulting on their debt obligations. But interest rates of 40% would mean the £30,000 debt gets bigger even though the new part-time job is bringing in a bit of extra cash and austerity measures have been implemented. The credit card bill gets bigger and bigger, despite all the austerity.

Like an individual struggling with debt Greece has passed the hat round to friends and family in the hope that they will help. In particular, it wants the German relatives to do what they have done during every other European crisis of the past half century – write a big cheque to make the problem go away.

Uncle Fritz and Auntie Gertrude have grown tired of ponying up for the spendthrift members of the family. While political leaders may think saving the Euro is the priority German (and French, Dutch, Austrian and Finnish)2 taxpayers think that instead of chucking good money after bad to subsidise the idle slackers of southern Europe it is time to keep tax money at home where it can benefit the hard working and prudent people on whose labours economic success was built. It is time, they think, for the Greeks to get off their arses and get some work done while abandoning the unrealistic sense of entitlement that says sitting under an olive tree playing Pan Pipes and watching sheep eat grass all day is worth as much as building Mercs, Beemers, VWs, aircraft, diesel engines, radar systems and electrical goods.

An individual would at this point realise the game was up. If the rich relatives turned down the appeal for an emergency loan there really aren't any options left except to go bankrupt.

The analogy breaks down here. If an individual goes bust, there is plenty of pain and lots of misery but it is confined to a relatively small number of people. If a country goes bust, it affects all the banks and pension funds that have advanced shedloads of money down the years. German and Dutch banks. French and Austrian pension funds. |And British and American financial institutions too. That's why Greece will have the interest rate cut on the money it borrowed from other members of the European family. And why another massive loan will be approved. We must however be near if not already at the point where voters rebel.

(1) porkies: rhyming slang - pork pies = lies.
(2) The other solvent nations in the European Union, Sweden, Denmark and Britain, are not members of the single currency scheme. Apart from that Britain and Denmark are struggling to keep their heads above water.

Eurozone Moves Closer To Federalisation With Latest Greek Bailout Plan

by Ed Butt
No post yesterday as we were all sick of the News International hacking scandal. Today however as the Euro crisis takes a very sinister turn and one that should scare seven colours of crap out of taxpayers who understand what deomocacy is, we report on how the deal hacked out between Germany and France moves Europe closer to federalisation with ancient nation states such as Portugal, Spain and Austria losing their soverignty and being ruled by unelected bureaucrats from Brussels.

Is it any wonder the international elite pushing the 'New World Order' global government do not want the nations of Europe to vote on the issue of federalisation?

As so often in the debt crisis sweeping Europe, German and French agreement on the latest Greek bailout was key to any deal.

The agreement between Hausfrau Merkel and Little Two Brains Sarko came after a day of discussion n Berlin with negotiations continuing late into Wednesday night.

Sources in both governments revealed the meeting also involved European Central Bank head Jean-Claude Trichet.

Dutch Finance Minister Jan Kees de Jager said a short-term or selective default for Greece which had previously resisted by the ECB, was now a possibility. "The demand to prevent a selective default has been removed," he told the Dutch parliament.

While few details of the Franco-German hve yet deal emerged, the sources said it would include private sector involvement.

Eurozone sources said a buyback of discounted Greek bonds to help reduce Athens' crippling debt pile was now seen as the most promising way of making private investors contribute to the cost of another financial rescue. The real test of the agreement will come when traders are asked to buy the Eurobonds. With so many basket case economies being supported by the taxpayers of Germany, France, Holland, Austria and Finland the big question is that as soon as elections are due will the voters follow those in Finland and support a strongly anti - Europe party. If this is thought likely investors are likely to want sky high interest rates from the paper they hold.

The eurozone sources said a buyback of Greek bonds on the secondary market was the only form of private sector involvement that might not trigger a selective default and it was now at the heart of the talks.

The risk premium investors demand to hold peripheral euro zone government bonds rather than benchmark German Bunds fell on Thursday on news of the Franco-German agreement.

The one worlders may have saved the Euro temporarily but in doing so have they infected the single currency's solvent economies with the virus that blights the basket cases.

Phone Hacking - Ho hum

Everything is about phone hacking and News International again today. Oh, and there's a famine in Somalia which we reported overa month ago but mainstream media have just latched onto. Here are a few links and we will try to find an interesting story for tomorrow.

At Last! A Politician Gets It. Well Done Nick Clegg

by John de Roe

The Liberal Democrats leader and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Cl;egg has said he is concerned the crisis in the eurozone could spread to Britain and have a “direct impact” on jobs.

It is so good to see that at least one politician is not obsessing about the News of the World scandal. But then it is worth noting that the Liberal Democrats are the only party of the three main players not tainted by association with News International's crooked activities.

Showing that he had his eye on the ball while others were distracted by the ginger minge affair Mr Clegg said, 'I fear we're on the brink of another financial crisis' The admission is the first time that a senior British politician has acknowledged that the problems in Greece, Spain and Italy could soon affect Britain.

European leaders are due to meet on Thursday of this week with the aim of cobbling together a plan for private-sector involvement in bailing out Greece.

Mr Clegg was asked on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show: “How worried are you that we are on the edge of another really serious world financial crisis?” He replied: “I’m incredibly worried. I think the gravity of the uncertainty in the United States, which is basically a product of political gridlock, and the growing fiscal crisis, sovereign debt crisis in the eurozone is immensely serious.”

Again kudos to Clegg. So far people have been willing to point to the crisis in the Eurozone as a threat to the stability of the west but the far bigger Ameerican debt crisis and the economic illiteracy the Obama administration have shown in their inept and casual efforts to deal with it has been the elephant in the room.

Mr. Clegg said it would be foolish to think that Britain was able to “wash our hands” of the Eurozone crisis simply because the country was not a member of the eurozone.

Immigraion Should Be Frozen Says Labour Policy Adviser

by Ed Butt
And somebody else is getting the message at last too. Labour and particularly the politically correct left of the Labour party which includes leader Ed Milliband love immigrants. They can't get enough of the third world poor in fact. So much so thgat many have seriously suggested we abandon immigration controls and allow in anyone who wants to come and live here.

That number would include all of the world's two billion poor who have heard that in Britin the government will pay you a wage for doing nothing.

Lord Glasman, the leading policy adviser to the Labour leader, takes a different view however. He said over the weekend the country should “draw the line” on immigration and even renegotiate EU rules that allow free movement for migrant workers.

He told The Daily Telegraph that Britain is “not an outpost of the United Nations” and the needs of the British people must be put first.

The comments are the most drastic yet for any of the major political parties and would effectively end immigration in to the UK. Lord Glasman is at last saying what Labour's core working class voters want to hear.

However, the Labour metropolitan elite, a group with collectively despise the working class as much as they pity the 'poor' were quick to distance itself from the suggestions, dismissing the intervention by saying Lord Glasman’s views were “his own”.

It seems then that hypocrisy and authoritarianism will continue to be the main planks of Labour policy into the next election.

We're Not Greece Says Obama As Fears About American Debt Grow

Standard & Poor's Join Moody's In Warning Of Credit Rating Downgrade Foe United States Government

Standard & Poor's has joined ratings agency Moody's to warn it could cut the United States' prized AAA credit rating if a deal on increasing the government's debt ceiling is not agreed soon.

As negotiations between President Obama and the Republican controlled House of Representayives stalled once again because of Obama's negotiating technique of throwing his toys out of the pram if he does not get his own way,S&P said there was now a 50/50 chance it could cut the rating as soon as this month if talks between the White House and Republicans remain unresolved. Any cut would be by one or more notches, it added.

The dollar fell almost half a cent to $1.42 against the dollar following the news. US Treasury bonds remained largely steady.

John Chambers, the chairman of S&P's sovereign ratings committee, said "this is the time" for the two sides to tackle the country's long-term debt problems. Unfortunaely Obama will not talk deficit reduction so long as it involves abandoning some of his loonytoons public spending plans.

"If we only get a limited agreement, that will lead to a downgrade," Chambers said in an interview.

A downgrade of America's rating will almost certainly raise borrowing costs not only for the United States but also for loans that use the Treasury rate as a benchmark.

Pentagon Hit By Cyber Attack As Hackers Steal Sensitive Files

bt Ed Butt

The United States government deputy secretary of defenceWilliam Lynn has admitted computer systms controlled by The Pentagon, the headquarters of American security services and the armed forces was hit by a cyber attack and suffered one of its largest ever losses of sensitive data in March 2011 when 24,000 files were stolen in a cyber-attack by a foreign government.

The data was taken from the computers of a corporate defence contractor.

Lynn said the US government had a "pretty good idea" which foreign government was responsible but did not elaborate.

Many recent cyber-attacks have been blamed on China or Russia, and one of the Pentagon's biggest security worries is that eventually a terrorist group will acquire the ability to steal data.

Mr Lynn disclosed the March attack in a speech outlining a new cyber-strategy, which formally declares cyberspace a new warfare domain, much like air, land and sea.

It calls for developing more resilient computer networks so the military can continue to operate if critical systems are breached or taken down.

The Daily Stirrer information technology expert Ian Thorpe would say it's simple. Abandon any Intel / Windows systems and phase out the 'anyone can do anything web' mentality. Ian's attitude has always been "What is so hard to understand about the phrase 'personal computer'. It means a person's very own computer and anyone who thinks its OK to srore or retrive data on it or run software without the owner's consent can fuck the fucking fuck right off.

News International Phone Hacking Scandal Spreads To USA

by Ed Butt

With the irresistible energy of a Tsunami, the phone hacking scandal which has already swamped News International's best selling British tabloid, derailed plans to gram a bigger stake in television broadcasting and internet service provision and is now threatening the quality broadsheet newspapers owned by the group is also causing questions to be asked in other countries.

News International Phone Hacking Scandal Spreads To USA Daily Telegraph

Rupert Murdoch is facing growing calls for an inquiry in the US after senators led by senators from both parties, Republican Peter King and Democrat Jay Rockefeller questioned whether News Corporation had engaged in "criminal" activity in America, including the possibility that the relatives of 9/11 victims had their phones hacked.

With hints from political and media insiders that there are more revelations to come of criminal activities by News International employees and freelancers working for Murdoch's organisation, it looks as if by the time the scandal has subsided the media landscape may look very different.

More On The Hacking Scandal

Family of murder victim Millie Dowler hold talks with Liberal Democrat leader The family of 13 year old Millie Dowler who was brutally murdered by serial killer Levi Bellfield were among the first to claim their phones had been hacked by agents working for The News of The World. Yesterday they met the coalition government's Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg to discuss possible action.

No Drama Obama blows a fuse

"I'se de President an' dem whitey all goan do what I say." Barack Hussein Obama stormed before walking out of a meeting with Republican congressional leaders on deficit reduction, telling them "enough was enough". (Well he didn't actually say those words, but close)

I has to be said the Obama's ghetto black act is still in need of a lot of work, being more Stepin Fechit than Richard Pryor but as an example of politics by throwing toys out of the pram it was fairly typical. In a press conference on Monday he ruled out a temporary agreement on raising the US debt limit, insisting "we might as well do it now – pull off the Band-Aid, eat our peas".

It was the fourth such meeting in as many days to end fruitlessly, and the president's mounting frustration had been clear.

"They're in one week and they're out one week," he said, making his irritation plain. "You need to be here. I've been here. I've been doing Afghanistan and bin Laden and the Greek crisis. You stay here. Let's get it done."

Now let's just recap on what Bammy means by get it done. In spite of his nation's dire economic plight (the USA is effectively bankrupt) the President wants the Republican controlled House of Representtives to vote in favour of raising the legal debt ceiling enabling his spendthrift administration to borrow mor money on international markets. Before the Republicans will do this they want Obama to commit to an austerity programme to reduce the deficit by cutting public spending.

Bammy, a financial illiterate devoted to the loonytoons economics of socialism and to a programme of massive public spending on vanity projects refuses this and instead is demanding the Republicans yield and allow him to borrow as much money as China, Japan, India and Russia are willing to advance.

Clearly raising the debt ceiling will solve nothing. The massive borrowing programme Obama plans will simply sink the value of the dollar (already close to an all time low) on world markets.

Biggest Jump In Benefit Claims For Two Years

The number of people claiming unemployment benefit rose by almost double what was forecast last month to reach 1.52m – its highest total since March 2010, official figures revealed today. The total number of people out of work actually fell however, according to the wider ILO measure of unemployment.

The unemployment rate for the three months to May 2011 declined by 0.1pc on the quarter to 7.7pc. The number of unemployed people fell by 26,000 over the quarter to reach 2.45m, with more young people aged 16 to 24 entering study or finding work.

The discrepancy in the figures from the Office for National Statistics is thought to be down to changes in the way benefits are calculated, in other words the government is cooking to books to hide how bad things really are. Nothing has changed since Labour was in power then.

The ONS said the number of people out of work for up to one year increased by 11,000 over the quarter to reach 1.64m. Long-term unemployment fell by 37,000 to reach 807,000, the figures showed.

Stock Markets Panic As Italy Debt Problems Mount

by John de Roe

Stock markets experienced a second day of massive falls on Tuesday as Italy, the biggest economy yet to be dragged into the Eurozone sovereign debt crisis struggled to avoid being forced to default on its debts. Elsewhere, the first nation to see its economy collapse, Greece, moved closer to default.

It give us no pleasure to reminnd you The Daily Stirrer has for two years predicted this would happen and warned of the dire consequences for western nation not involved in the single European currency.

Shares in Bank and Financial businesses were in retreat across Europe, driven by fears that Italy will soon be unable to borrow enough on the on the international money markets to meet its debt obligtions and finance its structural deficit. The euro lost value rapidly against all other traded currencies and hit a low of $1.388 – it has now lost more than 3 cents against the dollar since Monday morning.

The FTSE 100 index was down by 133 points at one stage in London. It recovered slightly during a volatile trading session, and by 2.45pm stood at 5876. Barclays fell as much as 6.5% to 218p followed by Lloyds, down 4.7% at 42p.

"The banks are biggest fallers, because of concerns that the European crisis is spreading to Italy and Spain," David Jones, chief market strategist at IG Index told reporters.

In the bond markets, the yield – or interest rate – on Italian 10-year bonds approached 6%, its highest in a decade. Spanish yields hit 6.2% heralding trouble ahead for another of Europe's larger economies. Bankers and Bond traders have warned that these borrowing costs are unsustainable. Italy succeeded in selling €6.75bn (£6bn) of 12-month Italian bonds on Tuesday morning, but at the highest interest rate on such debt since September 2008, following the collapse of Lehman Brothers.

This helped the main Italian index, the FTSE MIB, to recover some losses. It tumbled by 4.1% in early trading – with shares in Italy's biggest bank, Unicredit, being temporarily suspended after falling more than 7%.

The crisis in the eurozone demonstrates the pressure that is building up against the single currency as Europe's sovereign debt crisis continues. The contagion, so far contained within the small economies of Greece, Ireland and Portugal is now spreading like a cancer. The Spanish economy is bigger than Portugal, Greece and Ireland combined and Italy is still one of the world's ten largest economies. Eurozone finance ministers are holding emergency meeting to try to find a way out of the self fuelling crisis

Obituary For The News Of The World

by Ian R Thorpe

As we digestthe news that Rupert Murdoch's News Internation has killed Britain's top selling newspaper the 168 year old News Of The World the question has been asked, "why would a billionaire media mogul close a top selling newspaper to save the career of one woman?"

Well it's surprising what some men will do when they are besotted by a ginger minge.

Rebeckah Wade - the ginger minge Murdoch had to protect.
Goodbye then to the News of the World, a once great British institution. As a prurient adolescent(weren't we all?) I would gather with my friends to read the salacious stories of adultery and sordid liaisons between 'good time girls' and 'tired businessmen on their way home from the city'.

They were always 'tired businessmen', perhaps if they had spent less time dallying with good time girls in the streets around Picadilly they might have had enough energy to run and hide at the sight of a man wearing a slouch trilby, a disreputable raincoat and a face that spoke of too many long nights in The Cheshire Cheese, Tho Old Cock or El Vino's who was approaching them clutching a reporters notebook.

We would ogle the rather chaste pictures of bikini clad 'starlets' and avidy consume all the tales od sex in the suburbs, satanism in the sticks and reporters who always made their excuses and left.

The most amusing thing about it, looking back, was they coy language used. "Intimacy took place" was a favourite euphemism to suggest extra mural bonking. Intimack usually too place in lay bys alongside quiet roads.

Things really went downhill in the 1980s however. The News of the World, driven by Murdoch's desire to dominate the media, was instrumental in creating celebrity culture and the addiction that fed on it. The more sensation people were fed, the more they demanded.

Like Steinbeck's monster that will die if it ceases to grow and must be constantly fed if it is to grow, the News of the World was eventually destroyed by the monster it spawned.

Perhaps that world seemed more exciting to me than my friends because my Dad was a newspaper man, for the distinctly highbrow News Chronicle and then the Daily Express and though not quite involved with the gutter press and covering the west midlands from a Manchester base rather than Fleet Street himself he would hear all the gossip and pass it on, suitably edited.

My fondest memory however comes from my days as a paper boy with a round covering two villages in Shropshire. A number of people I delivred to would have either The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph or The Observer delvered along with The News of te World but insistes the NoW be folded inside the qualiy paper so the neighbours could not see it.

Is the News of the World gone forever? Media insiders are already suggesting that after a gap of a few months News International will launch a new downmarket Sunday red top. The World of News perhaps?

US Economy Jolted By Shock Jobless Figures

In spite of White House leaks suggesting positive news on unemployment US employers hired the fewer workers last month that in any month during the past two years. This has pushed up the jobless rate and scared the financial markets.

Crushing hopes of a turnaround in the jobs market inflated by much hot air from the President, companies have been increasingly cautious about hiring new staff amid the continuing economic uncertainty. Just 18,000 new starters were hired in June 2011, the US labour department said, well below the consensus forecast of 90,000 to 120,000, and the weakest reading since September 2010.

The shock figures pushed the US unemployment rate up from 9.1% to 9.2% – the highest level since December 2010, when it stood at 9.4%

She Cannae Take It Jim, She's Gonna Blow - Iceland Volcano Gets Ready To Rumble

by Xavier Connolly

One of Iceland's most feared volcanoes, Hekla - known locally as The Gateway to Hell is causing volcanologists and geologists a lot of concern. Seismic readings gathered by a team of geophysicists suggest the volcano is ready to erupt, raising fears of a new ash cloud over Europe.

Hekla is close to the ash cloud producing Eyjafjoell, which last year caused the world's biggest airspace shut down since World War II, affecting more than 100,000 flights and eight million passengers.

Experts have said measurements of Hekla indicate magma movement under the earth's crust.

"The movements around Hekla have been unusual in the last two to three days," University of Iceland geophysicist Pall Einarsson announced.

"While this might not necessarily mean an immediate blast, the volcano is ready to erupt," he said, adding,"The mountain has been slowly expanding in the last few years because of magma build up."

Another geophysicist, Ari Trausit Gudmundsson, said measurements around Hekla were very "unusual" and the volcano looked ready to erupy violently. "Something is going on," he said, but explained that sensor readings and computer simulations can only suggest what might happen "If or when the volcano will eruptor how violent the eruption will be cannot be predicted," he said

The volcano, one of Iceland's most active, has erupted some 20 times over the past millennium. It's last eruption was in February, 2000.

It is so active that scientists estimate about 10 percent of the tephra - the solid matter ejected when a volcano erupts - produced in Iceland over the past millenium, about five cubic kilometres, comes from this one volcano.

Asked about what kind of disruptions could be expected if Hekla erupts, Mr Gudmundsson said the volcano tends to "produce both ash and lava within the first seconds of an eruption. But of course this depends on the size of the eruption, which is something that is impossible to predict," he stressed.

Lava eruptions are far less disruptive to air travel, and if the next eruption is of the same character as the previous ones in documented history it is unlikely that it will have any effects on flights in Europe.

7/7 Bomb Victims Families Hacked By News Of The World

Most newspapers and broadcast news stations not owned bt Rupert Murdoch's News International lead on the hacking of Bomb victims famillies' by private Investigators working for News International's biggest selling title The News Of The World today.

from The Daily Telegraph

Investigators working for the paper are thought to have hacked the phones in an attempt to find harrowing messages from distressed family members anxious for news of their loved ones.

Graham Foulkes, whose son David was killed at Edgware Road, said a senior police officer contacted him yesterday to warn him that he had may have been targeted by the News of the World.

He told the Today programme: “I just felt really upset and sad and sickened that some people would go to those extremes given the distress of 52 families at that time.

“I'm waiting to hear from police but we're still quite numb that somebody could have been so cold and hard to have listened to our phone conversations at a moment of such intense distress.”

From a more left of centre perspective The Guardaian said:

The phone-hacking crisis enveloping the News of the World has intensified after it emerged that Scotland Yard has started to contact the relatives of victims of the 7 July 2005 attacks to warn them they were targeted by the paper.

The revelation that bereaved family members may have had their mobile phone messages intercepted by Glenn Mulcaire, a private investigator employed by the paper, in the days following the 2005 London bombings will heap further pressure on the title's owner, News International, part of Rupert Murdoch's media empire.

Police officers are also turning their attention to every high-profile case involving murder, abduction or attack on a child since 2001 in response to the revelation that journalists from the tabloid newspaper hacked into the voicemail messages of the murdered schoolgirl Milly Dowler

Revelations about The News Of The World's hacking activities have prompted Parliament to hold an emergency debate on the matter. A point that should be raised, in view of News Internationa's incredible claims that senior executives knew nothing of the criminal activities of its emplyees and contractors. News International has held a powerful if not controlling intereasst in BskyB since the satellite broadcaster was formed by the merger of Murdoch's Sky and British Satellite Broadcasting in the 1990s.

Were News International to gain full control of the satellite broadcasting company it would be in a very strong position to put the squeeze on ITV, cable operators Virgin and the BBC as reported in this BBC news item.

Only a few days ago the communications minister in the coalition government, Tristram Hunt (his name is not rhyming slang but soon will be we think) gave the nod to the takeover after the Liberal Democrat minister previously responsible, Business Secretary Vince Cable had heeded the fears of othernews providers that permitting the takeover would give News International too much power over British media. It is worth noting, because the linked story is in left leaning newspaper The Independant that Labour's anger at this deal is hypocritical in the extreme. News International were given the go ahead to launch the takeover bid when the Labour party (no longer the peoples' party but the party of academics, lawyers and career bureaucrats) were in power.

As the Conservatives are senior partners in the coalition, Cameron and his public schoolboy cohorts should be way of getting into bed with Murdoch. When politicians have got in bed with News International executives in the past they have ended up with a dose of someting so nasty non aligned voters would not touch them.

Dominic Strauss Kahn - Another New World Order Cover Up

by Profanicus Maximus
Oh so predicably the intenational conspiracy of bureaucrats, bankers and big business are closing ranks around the serial sex pest and leading proponet of the Nazi wet dream, a global government.

from The Daily Beast

A "top investigator in the case" tells the New York Post the Manhattan DA will drop charges against Dominique Strauss-Kahn, possibly at his next court appearance in two weeks. "Her credibility is so bad now, we know we cannot sustain a case with her," the source says of Strauss-Kahn's accuser. After an intensive smear campaign by the American shit - bag liberal media to discredit his accuser, the US justice system now appears to be ready to cave in and demonise the hotel maid who says Strauss Kahn forced her to have sex with him.

The credibility of the maid's evidence may be crumbling under media pressure but the Washington Post reporter who said "Nothing that comes out of her mouth can be believed. We know that traces of semen found in her mouth bore Dominic Strauss - Kunt's DNA. I would not put much faith in the word of an African woman who (allegedly) entered the USA illegally, (allegedy) sold sex to other guests at the expensive hotel where DSK was putting up (like those guys could not afford the $1000 a night hookers who abound in New York) and (allegedly) worked as a protitute before leaving her homeland.

But them I would put even less faith in the word of an self serving international bureaucrat, member of an elitie who believe they ae above the law and can do what they like, when they like to whom they like. Pity the French if Strauss - Kunt manages to become President. The first thing he will do is restore Jus Primae Noctis.

The lack of credibility shared by accuser and accused show exactly why this case must be heard in court.

While we may have grounds to suspect the international Nazis of the United Nations, the IMFand the whole bunch of corrupt shit suckers and parasites have exerted pressure on the Obama administration, nobody is going to admit to that any time soon. Even so, if the skunk felching manipulators of the international elite manage to stop this case being heasrd in court as they have stopped so many other cases against their crooked lackey from being heard, we know there are enough sordid details waiting to be revealed to destroy Strauss - Kunt even in the eyes of the liberine tolerant French voters.

British Website Owners Under Threat From US Anti Priacy Law

by Ed. Butt

We used to ask when George Bush and Bill Clinton were Presidents of the USA, "who do the bloody yanks think they are?" Since American liberals shoehorned Barack Husssein Obama into The White House the world's most powerful nation has been run by a man determined to rule in the style of an African village tyrant.

The lastest neo - Nazi scheme to come from team Obama is typical of the 'President's' rather nasty brand of racism.

from The Daily Telegraph:
>div class="quote"> Foreign websites suspected of breaking US copyrights are being targeted by its Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency regardless of whether they are linked to the country.

Erik Barnett, the agency's assistant deputy director, said that all “.com” or “.net” websites were fair game if they were suspected of involvement in spreading pirated US films, TV or other media.

Although these web addresses are seen as global, their connections are routed through Verisign, an American-based internet infrastructure company, which is enough of a US connection for ICE to act on.

Offending websites could be closed down or their owners prosecuted, Mr Barnett said.

The agency is also targeting sites which indirectly contribute to piracy by providing links to offending websites.

David Cameron and his colleagues in the coalition government have shown themselves to be spineless sycophants when faced with Obama's racism and overt hatred of everything British so it's time we stood against American Naziism as we once stood along against Hitler.

Boycott American goods unless they are pirated or contraband. Only buy pirate versions of Hollywood movies. Post pirated versions of links to all American copyright materials, music, films TV shows and books.

And then let's blockade the airports and sea ports to disrupt trade with the USA. We must not allow one extradition under this bizarre proposal. If people have borken British law they must be dealt with by British law. If they have not broken British law and have not traveled beyond these shore we must not permit American Nazi bullies to demand their extradition.

Basrack Hussein Obama labours under the delusion that he is President of the entire universe and everything else besides and that makes him the most dangerous man in the world, far more dangerous than all the world domination freaks who have gone before him. We must disabuse him of his megalomaniacal fantasies before he starts a global conflict.

British Education Failing British Children

As a row brewed over the immigration issue which was the number one priority in the minds of voters at the last election but was kept out of the campaign by the cosy consensus of politically correct wusses who have wormed their way to positions of power in the three main political parties, thee was condemnation of the education system that is more concerned with indoctrinating its pupils with the collectivist ideology of the populist authoritarian left, prioritizing classes in multiculturalism, racial awareness, gay rights and efeminist studies over educating them to take their place in a society founded on the Celtic - Germanic and Graeco - Roman cultures of northern Europe.

This story from The Daily Telegraph is truly appalling. British youth cannot read or write well enough.

The Daily Stirrer and our companion online publication Boggart Blog have commented many times on the failure of the education system and it's politicisation by a left domiated clique who are more concerned with minority rights than with doing the job of teaching a broad curriculum so pupils emerge equipped to develop a wide range of interests and not simply be trained for a career by being forced to specialise far too soon and focus on too narrow a range of topics.

So How Is It Going For Barack Hussein Obama?

Remember Barack Hussein Obama, the Obamessiah, the anointed of God, the peacemake, unifyer, the healer of nations, the walker on water who liked to give the impression he would heal the poor, lead the sick and feed the blind. Apart from his abysmal failure to address America's economic problems which we have reported and commented on many times, how is that 'President Of The Entire Universe and everything else besides' project going?

US Drones Fireed in Somalia

The U.S. expanded its drone campaign to Somalia last week, according to new statements from an American official, apparently wounding two members of the al Qaeda-aligned militant group al-Shabab. The strike was reportedly ordered after growing concerns that al-Shabab was working with al Qaeda to coordinate terror attacks outside of Somalia. This makes Somalia at least the sixth nation to be targeted by U.S. drones, along with Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq, and Yemen. Al-Shabab has become "somewhat emboldened" lately, an American official told American newspapers Read full story in The Washington Post.

Kabul Bombing Exposes Obama's Declaration Of Victory As A Fantasy

Tuesday's suicide bomb attack on a high-end hotel in Kabul shows that if the U.S. pullout promised by 'President' Obama goes ahead, Afghanistan will be a lawless chaotic faled nation where the Taliban and tribal war lords will rule large swaths of territory, the government cannot maintain law and order, and the political process can't end the war. It is dishonest to suggest otherwise, says The Daily Beast's Peter Beinart. . Read full story; Kabul Bombing's Political Fallout in The Daily Beast.

Greece: Violence Escalates as Parliament Approves Austerity Package

. by Ed Butt

Minutes after hearing that the Greek parliament had approved a programme of tax increases and public spending cuts requred by the EU and IMF before the latest tranch of bailout money is handed over to the bankrupt government, protestors in the streets of Athens began rioting.

The Greek government has totally lost the plot and is so far out of touch with public opinion they might as well move their offices to a planet in the Betelgeuse galaxy.

With almost all members of the European single currency system (Euro zone) eith facing similar but less serious financial problems or the wrath of taxpayers seriously pissed off at having to fund the southern European basket case economies it looks like a rough ride ahead for the Euoro and the EU as a whole.

There Is No Plan B For Greece

Public protests are under way in Athems as the Greek government debates the austerity measures it must implement to tackle its debt, guarantee a bailour from the EU and IMF and remain a member of the European Community single currency (Euro).

Australian Woman Set To Become World's Richest Individual

by Ed Butt

Gina Rinehart, 57, is already the richest person in Australia, it's predicted, will soon become the wealthiest in the world.

Her personal wealth has more than doubled to A$10.3 billion (£6.8 billion) in the past year due to the increase in commodities prices on world markets.

Ms Rinehart is on course to overtake Carlos Slim, the Mexican telecommunications magnate who is worth an estimated £46 billion, and the Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, who is worth £35 billion according to bankers Citigroup.

The financial community calculates that three coal and iron ore projects Rinehart's company is developing will lead her to overtake the top men mainly because she owns her companies outright and has no shareholders.

“If Rinehart was a company listed on the [Australia Stock Exchange] and valued using the same 11-times price-to-earnings ratio as her partner, Rio Tinto, she would be worth US$30 billion (£19 billion), putting her in the top ten of the Forbes rich list, said SmartCompany, an Australian business website.

Strewth! Think how many tinnies you can buy with US$30 billion.

Scientists Caught Trying To Play God Again

by Ian R Thorpe

The genetic code of mice has been “edited” by "scientists" in a breakthrough that they claim could lead to new treatments for some hereditary diseases in humans.

The researchers managed to modify cells in mice to repair a faulty gene but, instead of recreating the flawed piece, the cells generated a healthy one.

The faulty gene was the one responsible for haemophilia, meaning that the process cured the mouse of the hereditary condition, which can be life-threatening in humans.

The research team hope the discovery could lead to development of better treatments for conditions affecting the immune system, bone marrow and the liver.

“Genetic editing” works by using enzymes to unlock the DNA. A new gene can then be inserted in the right place and the DNA made to reform around it.

All this sounds great of course but overlooks the tendency of scientists to (a) overstate heir achievements and (b) cross over to the dark side as soon as they sniff a bit of power. Huxley's Brave New World beckons again. Fortunately few of these hyperbolic claims ever amount to anything.

Eurozone Crisis Nears Meltdown

T"Sovereign and banking strains are the most material and immediate threat," the Bank of England Financial Policy Committee chaired by Mervyn King, the Bank of England governor, said in its inaugural report.

The committee called for banks to be more transparent in disclosing their exposure to sovereign debt problems. Mr. King also warned that authorities needed to keep a closer eye on the explosion of "opaque" products such as exchange traded funds (ETFs), which banks increasingly use to raise money from the financial markets.

His statement follows an overnight victory for David Cameron in preventing British taxpayers' money being used to bail out Greece which faces the probabiliy that it will have to default on paying interest due on its bonds. At a European Union summit in Brussels, the Prime Minister won a fight with Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor, to keep Britain out of any new rescue package. Mr. Cameron said another bailout for Greece's effectively bankrupt economy would merely push the problem further down the road.

Germany had wanted to use money from the European Financial Stability Mechanism to bail out Greece. Britain is a contributor and has no veto on how its €11.85billion (£10.5billion) funds are used.

But Herman Von Rompuy - pumpy, the EU president, said that the EFSM would "not be part of the package".

Speaking at a news conference hours later, Sir Mervyn King said uncertaintainty over exposure to countries such as Greece could lead to a "crisis of confidence", which posed a bigger risk no national stability than direct exposure to losses that would accrue it Greece defaulted, making its debt obligations junk bonds.

Mr King also said the ongoing crisis in Greece was not a matter of liquidity, but solvency, and a build-up of large amounts of debt:

The Bank of England report comes as bankers scramble to avert a Greek debt default that would send shockwaves through international markets. The crisis is unfolding exactly as The Daily Stirrer's John de Roe predicted it would.

Afghanistan: The end is in sight or perhaps not

by Ed Butt.

All the newspapers and broadcast media are full of the Afghanistan withdrawal today. But is it a victory for western values as the pusillanimous poltroon Barack Hussein Obama, echoed by his sidekicks and the sycophantic leaders of other western nations involved will try to claim?

Or has it been a debacle from start to finish, the end looking like being an embarrassing withdrawal after the army of occupation put in by the USA, Britain and others, with over 100,000 men on the ground and equipped with high tech weaponry have been fought to a statemate by a bunch of bearded ragheads armed with rifles and improvised bombs?

You decide.

Dangerous Decline In Ocean Environment

by Xavir Connolly

The world's oceans are in a worse state than was previously thought, according to new report from an expert panel of scientists.

from BBC News
In a new report, scientists warn that ocean life is "at high risk of entering a phase of extinction of marine species unprecedented in human history".

They conclude that issues such as over-fishing, pollution and climate change are acting together in ways that have not previously been recognised.

The impacts, they say, are already affecting humanity.

The report, commissioned by the International Programme on the State of the Ocean (IPSO), brought together experts from different disciplines, including coral reef ecologists, toxicologists, and fisheries experts. It will be formally released later this week.

Ah, a bunch of scientists, is that right? No wonder details of the report leaked tothe media read like another green scaremongering, research grant phisishing IPCC farrago.

"The findings are shocking," said Alex Rogers, IPSO's scientific director and professor of conservation biology at Oxford University, with understatement tpyical of those shallow and easily panicked people who dwell in science faculties..

"As we considered the cumulative effect of what humankind does to the oceans, the implications became far worse than we had individually realised. We've sat in one forum and spoken to each other about what we're seeing, and we've ended up with a picture showing that almost right across the board we're seeing changes that are happening faster than we'd thought, or in ways that we didn't expect to see for hundreds of years."

These "accelerated" changes include melting of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, sea level rise, and release of methane trapped in the sea bed, all of which have been disputed by independent groups.

It is worth noting the report does not suggest any views were sought from fishermn or people who live ner the sea and depend on it for their living. Another one to ignore?

Jobless Number Doubled Under Labour

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/8553135/Workless-househoulds-doubled-under-Labour.html James Kirkup, Daily Telegraph Figures published by The Office for National Statistics show the number of UK households where no adult has ever experienced paying work doubled under the last Labour government. Coalition Ministers say the figures, from the ONS Labour Force Survey, demonstrate why the benefits system must be restructured to increase the financial incentives for welfare claimants to get and keep jobs.

When Tony Blair's government took office, riding on a wave of euphoria in 1997 there were 184,000 households where no adult had ever worked. In the second quarter of 2010, when Labour left office, the figure was 352,000. Earlier figures from the same source suggest that as much as half of the increase in workless households was explained by the increase in the number of students in higher education. Critics of the last Government however claim the figures showed that Labour had overseen a growing “culture of welfare dependency” in Britain. Many people have argued the Labour aspiration of 50% of school leaves going into higher education is too high and was used as a mask for the true state of the UK employment market.

US Credit Rating Threatened

John de Roe

America is at risk of losing its triple-A credit rating unless swift and significant progress is made over its debt ceiling, Moody's has warned, piling fresh pressure on the US a few hours before crucial employment data is released. The ratings agency is worried that the political stalemate between the US Treasury and Congress over whether to allow the US national debt to increase. It said that the risk of the US defaulting on its loans was "very small but rising", suggesting that the country might not deserve its AAA rating.

Other sources have said the US of A, the world's most powerful economy, could default as early as August this year if the wretchedly incompetent Obama administration is not allowed to borrow the money it needs to pay interest due on money already borrowed. Concress will only consider raising the limit if the President will start to tlk sense about cutting the burgeoning deficit by reducing spending. Obama, far more committed to vanity projects and buying votes for his re - election bid refuses to counternance this.

A spokesperson for the agency told media representatives, "Although Moody's fully expected political wrangling prior to an increase in the statutory debt limit, the degree of entrenchment into conflicting positions has exceeded expectations. The heightened polarisation over the debt limit has increased the odds of a short-lived default. If this situation remains unchanged in coming weeks, Moody's will place the rating under review."

Under US law, the country's national debt may not exceed $14.3 trillion (£8.75tn). That figure was reached last month, forcing America to dip into two government pension schemes to service its debts. That, though, will only tide the US over until the start of August.

More on this:

Greece Has 50/50 chance of default The cost of insuring Greek government bonds rose on Thursday after ratings agency Moody's said there was now a 50% chance of the country defaulting on its debts. The warning came as Moody's cut Greece's credit rating to Caa1, almost the lowest rating assigned to any country. The move intensified the pressure on European leaders as negotiations over a second rescue package for Greece continued in Vienna. This "troika review", involving the European Union, the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank, is rumoured to be close to ...

Forget Entrepreneurs - Only Banks Can Create Wealth

Entrepreneurs, it has been said so many times over the past 30 years, create wealth. Right this minute, the foolish government is sitting around, waiting with bated breath, for glamorous entrepreneurs to get on with doing just that. But there are no signs that a great boom in business ingenuity is on its way. So why are entrepreneurs being so shy? Don't they want to create wealth? They probably do. 1 June, 2011
We are back and not in the least intimidated by attempt to take us offline, the sole purpose of The Daily Stirrer is to challenge the lies, misrepresentations and misinformation put out masquerading as truth by governments, bureaucrats and corporate power abusers.

We're all going to starve - but not fatally

by Xavier Connolly
We have always tried to establish The Daily Stirrer as the centre of opposition to the New World Order's attempts to enslave and rule us by spreading far and panic. Remember the Fukushima Radiation Scare, the Icelandic Volcano dust scare, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, MRSA, AIDS, Killer Measles, E Coli, Mad Cow Disease?

The latest one is the food shortage. We’re all going to starve we are told unless we surrender our power to think for ourselves and accept that the governments can only save us if we learn that we must never question authority. Who says so? The tame scientists who will say anything, produce any statistic required on them in return for a pat on the head in the form of an honorary degree, or a bit of corporate hospitality.

The truth is a few of us might get a bit hungry, mostly in the third world, not because of a shortage of food but because of market manipulation by a few amoral corporations that with the complicity of government, the United Nations and other supra national bureaucracies have been allowed to establish an unhealthy degree of control over global markets and food distribution systems. Food prices are surging, and not just because of a one-off commodities spike. According to Oxfam, the price of such staples as cereals will rise by between 120 and 180 per cent over the next twenty years.

“Yea, the hind also calved in the field, and forsook it because there was no grass. And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.” Well what did you expect. That is the inevitable consequence of ploughing up pasture to grow grain for biofuel or covering the land in wind turbines because no grass will grow where the huge concrete foundations the turbines need have been planted.

Oxfam’s proposed solution? Politicians should step in and regulate food prices. It is, of course, the eternal function of NGOs to demand that The Government Must Do Something; but surely even Oxfam has noticed that famines tend to occur in places where food production is regulated. Furthermore, regulation of the markets, whenever and wherever it has been tried from ancient Rome through Britain's disastrous corn laws in the nineteenth century and Stalin's collectivist economics of early twentieth century Russia to present day efforts in Africa and South East Asia have not only failed abysmally, they have brought on social catastrophe.

Fortunately, there is a tried and trusted, almost perfect mechanism to distribute food: the market. Lefties will hate this of course, the idea of any system working without it's being controlled by government, without there being ten tax eaters to administer the food supply for every farmer or fisher producing it, is utterly abhorrent to them, but since the earliest beginnings of urban civilisation it has worked. The current rise in the prices of grain and other stapes is sending out the message that land given over to ethanol or wind farms might more profitably be returned to the plough. That process will happen on its own: investors, collectively if not always individually, will respond - with a few aberrations when word domination freak corporations like Google kick off investment bubbles - rationally to market demand, without needing government intervention or even the hectoring of no - Stalinist do gooders.. The market has delivered more food to more people than any system devised by academics and bureaucrats.

So is there anything politicians could usefully do? Yes. They could fuck the fucking fuck right off and mind their own business. Buying the votes of the terminally stupid in support of crackpot policies like quantitative easing or pursuing unwinnable wars should be enough to keep anybody busy. The one thing they could usefully do is dismantle the food tariffs that condemn some of the poorest people on Earth to near - starvation. Scrapping the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy would do more for the Third World than any amount of aid – and would lower prices for European consumers. There would of course be a glut of unemployed tax eaters, paper shufflers and bean counter but we could kill them without anybody noticing. Their contribution to the world is negative.

Emissions Push Climate To The Edge?

by Xavier Connolly
On the day that Germany announced the Politically Correct Thought Police (Green Squad) have succeeded in finding a way to wreck Europe's powerhouse economy and reduce the only solvent large nation in the EU to the kind of penury being experienced by the economic basket case PIIGS (Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain we hear that despite all the efforts of the weirdie beardies to bully us into going green, despite all the billions of dollars, euros and pounds invested in crackpot schemes to turn lead into gold carbon into fertitliser or spent on ,jollies to exclusive resorts urgent summit conferences for scientists and politicians to discuss climate change we hear that according to the crooks and liars who warned of the carbon apocalypse, in spite of efforts to reduce emission by outsourcing carbon intensive manufacturing processes to China and the developing world introducing carbon caps and emissions trading schemes, we are getting nowhere.

Even the worst economic slump since the 1930s with the accompanying reduction of business activity has failed to curb rising emissions. According to climate scientists this is undermining any hope of keeping global warming to what they say are safe levels. As usual the 'scientific consensus is cited to suppress diverse opinions even though it has been shown beyond doubt there is no scientific consensus. All those scientists not in the pay of governments or corporations that stand to profit enormously from carbon trading, wind turbine manufacture, carbon capture, solar panels and other unlikely technologies have questioned the idea that climate change is caused by carbon emissions alone.

Greenhouse gas emissions increased by a record amount last year, to the highest carbon output in history, putting hopes of holding global warming to safe levels all but out of reach, according to unpublished estimates from the International Energy Agency.

Last year, a record 30.6 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide poured into the atmosphere, mainly from burning fossil fuel – a rise of 1.6Gt on 2009, according to estimates from the IEA regarded as the gold standard for emissions data.

This rise, the report states, means the goal of preventing a temperature rise of more than 2 degrees Celsius – which scientists say is the threshold for potentially "dangerous climate change" – is likely to be just a Utopian pipe dream. It also shows the most serious global recession for 80 years has had only a minimal effect on emissions, contrary to some predictions.

Professor Stern of The London School Of Economics commented: "Such warming would disrupt the lives and livelihoods of hundreds of millions of people across the planet, leading to widespread mass migration and conflict. That is a risk any sane person would seek to drastically reduce."

The IEA (International Energy Agency) has calculated that if the world is to escape the most damaging effects of global warming, annual energy-related emissions should be no more than 32Gt by 2020. If this year's emissions rise by as much as they did in 2010, that limit will be exceeded nine years ahead of schedule, making it all but impossible to hold warming to a manageable degree.

In spite of all these prophecies of disaster and doomsday scenarios the science lobby scream for more technology and more heat dependent industrial processes while economists and politicians scream for more consumption and more economic growth.

Anybody with half a brain cell should be able to see reducing carbon and maintaining growth are incompatible goals.

Wither Euro? How Long Can The Single Currency Survive? by John de Roe

<.H3> After the pantomime of toxic debt, dodgy bankers and Collateralised Debt Obligations, anything the clowns of the credit-rating agencies say about Europe's sovereign debt crisis should be treated with the same indifference as Harold Camping's Apocalyptic prophecies. Unfortunately we have little alternative than to use the ratings agencies as there are few available ways to accurately assess the health of a nation's finances.

Having utterly failed to warn about the risks of burgeoning debt among the poorer eurozone nations, Standard & Poor's has observed custom and practice in the financial reglation business by making a bad situation worse. The influential agency has put Italy on negative credit watch, thereby generating a fresh bout of nerves in already dangerously unsettled markets. There are other factors at work in the current jitteriness of dealers, not least the USA's dire position regarding it's debt ceiling and the deadlock between 'President' Obama and congress but S&P's latest report has not helped.

To repeatedly downgrade the basket casees, Greece, Ireland and Portugal is one thing, but to target Europe's fourth-largest and the eurozone's third largest economy is another entirely. Spain and Italy had been regarded as relatively stable, but both are now being made to look ever more vulnerable. For either of them to be denied access to markets would surely test European appetite for bail-outs to breaking point and possibly lead to insurrection by the German taxpayers who are already bearing the brunt of the financial catastrophe this catastrophically failed experiment in one-worldism has caused

. A rating agency has no business trying to support the euro but Italy makes an odd choice to be put on negative watch. True enough, the country already has very high net public indebtedness at some 116pc of GDP. The crisis of the past three years has all but wiped out the advances Italy achieved in the previous decade in paying down its debt.

Yet if the eurozone periphery crisis is seen as essentially a banking crisis which has transcended the world of finance and now threatens to engulf the political infrastructure of the European Union. Had the problem remained in the banking sector Italy would have little to worry about. Its banking sector is quite small relative both to others and to the size of the Italian economy, the reason for this being nobody in their right mind would trust Italian banks and they therefore find it impossible to expand their balance sheets with the same reckless disregard for risk that others showed in the run up to the crisis. This being the case, private and household debt in Italy is very low by European standards. Taking the two together – private as well as public debt – Italy is in fact a good deal more solvent than the UK.

Where S&P does have a point is that the chances of getting back to financial stability remain poor as long as economic growth remains almost stagnant.

Few steps are being taken to remedy the imbalances that are holding back growth and political paralysis threatens to hamstring any international efforts to start putting things back together. Last but by no means least, membership of the euro gives Italy limited monetary flexibility, without which the country cannot begin to deal with its problems unilaterally.

This is exactly the situation people opposed to the Euro predicted would exist ten years after the introduction of the single currency.

Ryan Giggs Could Have Kept Affair Secret

by Ed Butt

Ryan Giggs would have found it easier to keep his alleged relationship with former Big Brother TV star Imogen Thomas secret if he had not taken out an injunction to protect his privacy, the model's publicist said yesterday. PR guru Max Clifford said that, ironically, if the footballer had not taken out the injunction, then probably no-one would have known about the relationship.

Clifford told media representatives Ms Thomas had never intended to sell her story.

The law on injunctions has been thrown into further turmoil after Giggs was named as the married football star at the centre of one of the controversial privacy case triggered by the so called super injunctions that not only prevent the media from reporting a story but also prohibit and public acknowledgement than an injunction had been granted. Liberal Democrat MP John Hemming used parliamentary privilege to name Giggs as the Premier League player who took out an injunction over his relationship with Ms Thomas.

Max Clifford is due to see Ms Thomas at his London office today to discuss her next move. He told ITV1's Daybreak programme: ''I will see what she wants to do but, because of the previous conversations, I know that she never had any intention of selling her story." Now her name has been made public by revelations about this unnecessary injunction the game rules have changed.

Giles Coren, who works for The Times, was also identified by MP Hemming as the journalist who said he feared a prison sentence for breaking another super injunction. Over the weekend, it had been thought that Coren could be held in contempt of court after using Twitter to name a footballer granted an injunction. The footballer referred to by Coren was not Ryan Giggs, but another player who has obtained a gagging order. The offending comments were removed over the weekend.

Eurozone Debts And Default Fears Panic In The Markets

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/markets/8530469/Global-stock-markets-drop-on-eurozone-debt-fears.html The euro curency and stock markets across Europe have fallen sharply this morning amid renewed fears that Greece will default on its sovereign debt obligations. Fears over the consequences of eurozone debt crisis showing no sign of abating around the world as the crisis goes on.

Borrowing costs for heavily debt burdened governments also rose, with Italy and Spain suffering the biggest hike to their interests charges. Market worries are exacerbated by the fear that debt restructuring by Greece could hit Europe's banks and other governments that are hevily exposed on Greek debt.

The latest batch of bad news for economic managers included weak eurozone economic performance, a local election defeat for Spain's socialist government and a negative credit rating outlook for Italy.

Energy and mining stocks did particularly badly on the news, as oil prices fell back towards recent lows on fears the global recovery may be slowed by debt problems in Europe and tighter monetary policy to counter inflation in China.

Against the Swiss franc - seen as a safe-haven from the debt crisis - the euro hit a new all-time low of 1.2324 francs.

In an interview with German weekly newspaper der Spiegel, the Luxembourg prime minister and head of the Euro group, Jean-Claude Juncker, reiterated his idea that a soft landing could be engineered for Greece if its government met demanding policy targets. Mr Juncker explained that the restructuring would involve deferral of repayments and a cut in interest payments, to be agreed with the country's lenders.

He added it would need to be done in a way that would not be seen a default by the international rating agencies, which would cause an "enormous problem" for Europe's banks, who would then have to include billions of dollars worth of losses on their balance sheets.

He also confirmed that any restructuring and additional financial support would only be forthcoming if Greece stepped up privatisations and painful austerity measures.

Greece's cost of borrowing in bond markets has continued to rise steadily, as expectations of an eventual default rise.

The yield on its 10-year bonds rose another half a percentage point to 16.8% on Monday, up from 15.3% a week ago. Other countries also saw their borrowing costs rise, as markets remain concerned that a Greek default could trigger a broader meltdown. Spain's 10-year borrowing cost increased to 5.6%, its highest level since January.

Italy's government is said to be planning to bring forwards 35bn-40bn euros (£30bn-£35bn; $49bn-$56bn) of austerity measures to June in response to the country's cost of borrowing rising in financial markets following S&P's move, to 4.87% from 4.77%, before falling back again in morning trading.

Osama Bin Laden Planned Easter Bomb Campaign

by Ed Butt

In the latest attempt to convince a sceptical world that the man who (allegedly) is the first perfect human being in 2000 years did something really miraculous in personally leading a team of US Navy Seals to a run down apartment in Pakiskan where they killed an elderly man who looked a bit, but not much like the world's most wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden, The Obama Administration lie machine information department is putting out bogus intelligence.

In the latest snippet of fear and panic generating fiction released to British Intelligence, information contained in computer files seized by US special forces bin Laden was masterminding a plan to bomb Easter shoppers in Britain.

Easter shoppers? It's understandable that a man who has been dead as long as Osama bin Laden (died sometime between 2002 and 2006) was out of touch but Easter shopping in Britain? At Easter we all pile in our cars announcing a trip to the coast or countryside and spend a day sitting in a tailback on our gridlocked motorways system.

Any attempt to blow up cars in the tailbacks would be futile because holdups are caused by contra flow systems introduced to allow for road maintenance. The Road Transport authority employs crack squads of undercover traffic engineers (far more effective than undercover security agents) to move the contra flows so motorists can never predict where they are and head for another destination or avoid them by taking an alternative route.

No worries. the information that has been passed to our government on the instructions of Barack Hussein Obama, the man who tells God what to do. It is some of the first top-secret intelligence to have been passed back from the bin Laden operation, according to senior Government sources. We should feel honoured. So how real was the threat?

The Manchester based terrorist cell suspected on the strength of the bin Laden data of plotting to blow up landmarks in the city during this years' (2011) Easter holiday was broken and its members arrested in 2009. Police were unable to press charges however because of a lack of evidence and their treatment of the suspects at the time, which violated British and international law became a cause célèbre for MPs, lawyers and human rights groups.

An attempt last year to deport the alleged ringleader of the plot then failed on human rights grounds because he claimed he would be tortured if he was returned to Pakistan. Most of the alleged cell members have now left Britain.

So it seems the CIA's discovery of a security thread to 'Easter shoppers' in Manchester was just a tad off target, as was the CIA's claim to have detained 'known suicide bombers' a few years ago. Still, kudos to the Yanks. Once again they have demonstrated that the phrase Military Intelligence is a contradiction in terms.

House Prices Predicted To Fall Further

New of a further drop in mortgage lending in March and April 2011 will surprise nobody. The Council of Mortgage lenders reported gross lending fell to £9.8 billion in April, down from £11.4 billion in March, and 5 per cent lower than a year ago.

Industry officials tried to gloss over the poor performance of the property market. A CML economist named Waddac Hunt Bob Pannell, said: “It represents an unfortunate temporary loss of signal, at a time when it would be useful to gauge the resilience of house purchase demand to economic uncertainties and the pressure on household incomes. The bank holidays last month – including Easter and the Royal Wedding - saw many workers enjoy extended holidays in exchange for taking just a few days annual leave. Levels of activity look set to remain broadly flat over the near-term. It now seems unlikely that interest rates will rise much, if at all, this year and this should help keep the market on an even keel.”

Right so. The continuing slup is nothing to do with rising prices, falling incomes and people's fears that their jobs are not secure then?

More objective Market Analysts warned reduced activity in the housing market would translate into falling house prices. The average price of a home in Britain has already dropped to £160,000, down from £200,000 four years ago before the beginning of the second great depression.

Further falls in house prices are likely over the coming months as tighter fiscal policy and the possibility of gradually rising interest rates before the end of 2011 maintains pressure on the housing market. And if you think that sounds bad just wait until the good ol' US of A defaults on its debt which copuld happen as soon as August this year. The Obama administration and the American House of Representatives are currently at stalemate over funding. The legally enforced debt ceiling has been reached, The House want Obama to cut spending, Obama refuses to consider cuts to his loonytoons spending plans and wants congressment to sanction raising the debt ceiling so he can borrow money to pay interest on his loans.

If anybody tells you the recession is over and economies are returning to growth, they are lying. Borrowing money does not represent creating growth in the economy.

Parents To Be Forced To Help With Homework

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/education/8525274/Help-with-homework-part-of-the-curriculum.html
A government adviser said encouraging parents to discuss lesson topics with children, and requiring pupils to read more widely outside school, could drive “the next stage of our development as a nation”. Seems to us that well known bureaucrat Waddac Hunt is on the loose again.

Tim Oates, head of the advisory panel on curriculum reforms for England, argued that the best school systems around the world involved significant levels of education at home. Well he's right there, kids get their education at home and in the street and go to school to be indoctrinated with politically correct ideology.

Headteachers have welcomed Mr Oates's idea but his proposal to use the statutory curriculum to prompt more parents to get involved with their children's homework, in effect to make parents legally obliged to help with the homework, drew criticism from family campaigners.

Mr Oates, director of research at exam board Cambridge Assessment, said he wanted to encourage a debate on how the new curriculum might contribute to learning at home, a plan he has discussed with ministers. He told the Times Educational Supplement: “The national curriculum could be one of the instruments which one uses to encourage wider reading among younger people. If they are doing it at home it may help us to close the gap between those from well-off and not so well-off backgrounds. "

“If we have clarity in the national curriculum, parents from any social background would have a greater chance of understanding what it is that they should be doing at home at any one time which would help children’s attainment,” he said. “It could be just talking about a topic.”

Wewll bureaucratic bullshit like that is really going to help, isn't it?

Mr Oates conceded that ministers had “no legal power” to set levels of homework, but he continued: “one can put things in the national curriculum which obviously require a programme of work which couldn’t be entirely covered within normal school hours”.

A spokesman for the National Association of Head Teachers said using the national curriculum to give parents a clearer view of what happens in class would be “positive”. Margaret Morrissey of the pressure group, Parents Out Loud, said: “The national curriculum is already extremely clear. Every responsible parent already does the things that [Mr Oates] is suggesting and those that don’t will never do them in a million years.”

Mr Oates cited Finland, Singapore and Hong Kong as high-performing systems where “a lot more” learning takes place outside school to support work in the classroom.

Research has shown after-school work in Asian countries is mainly through private tuition. Mr Oates is not keen on that and wants to ensure that changes do not drive more families towards tutors in England. Well he would, wouldn't he. Got to keep compete control of minds in the hands of the Politically Correct Thought Police.

Unemployment Falls - Claiman Count Rises http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/may/18/unemployment-falls-claimant-count-rises Unemployment fell by 36,000 in the first three months of the year despite the economy's lacklustre rate of growth, official figures show, in a rare piece of good news for George Osborne. The Office for National Statistics said the number of people out of work on the government's preferred International Labour Organisation measure fell to 2.46m, taking the unemployment rate to 7.7%, from 7.8% in the three months to February.. Youth unemployment – a potential political hot potato for the coalition – also declined, to 935,000, although that still means one in five 16-to-24-year-olds are out of work. There was fresh evidence of the labour market's continued vulnerability, however, with a 12,400 increase in the more timely claimant count measure for April, with more than three quarters of the rise accounted for by women, who tend to be disproportionately hit by cuts in public sector jobs. The number of women claiming out-of-work benefits, at 474,000, is now at its highest level since 1996. Howard Archer, of consultancy IHS Global Insight, said the jump in the claimant count in March could signal further weakness in the coming months. He pointed out that while 118,000 new jobs were created in the three months to March, most of those were in January, with just 7,000 new hires last month He said: "We suspect that likely below-trend growth will mean that the private sector will be unable to fully compensate for the increasing job losses in the public sector that will result from the fiscal squeeze that is now really kicking in. Indeed, we believe that private-sector companies will become increasingly careful in their employment plans in the face of a struggling economy and elevated input costs." There is still little evidence of inflation-busting wage rises, according to the ONS report – average pay rose at an annual rate of 2.3% including bonuses, or a more modest 2.1% when bonuses are excluded. Chris Williamson, chief economist at Markit, said that was good news for the Bank of England's monetary policy committee as it battles inflation; but bad news for anyone trying to sell goods and services to hard-pressed British consumers. "The advantage of low pay growth is that it will help keep the current high rate of inflation from becoming entrenched. The downside is that, with inflation at 4.5%, this means that real pay is falling at a rate of 2.3% a year, which is going to further stifle consumer spending. This weakness of the household sector may well be a feature of the economy for some time to come," he said

UK Inflation Soars Again

by John de Roe

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/consumertips/8518188/Inflation-rises-again-as-CPI-reaches-4.5pc.html Latest figures from the treasury show inflation has risen again, by half a percentage point to 4.5pc. The consumer price index (CPI), the Government's official measure of inflation, accelerated at its fastest rate since 2008, far outstripping economists' predictions of a 0.1 percentage point rise.

This means inflation continues to run at more than double the Government's target of 2pc. The retail prices index, which includes housing-related costs, fell by 0.1 percentage points to 5.2pc, from 5.3pc the previous month but so small a change can hardly be considered good news.

Basic-rate taxpayers now need a savings account paying 5.63pc in order to beat inflation, while higher-rate taxpayers have to earn an interest rate of 7.5pc to beat the CPI. In fact people withn savings find it very difficult to get more than 2.5% interest. According to calculations by Moneyfacts.co.uk, the exponential effect of inflation on savings means that £10,000 invested five years ago, allowing for average interest rates, inflation and basic-tax at 20pc, would have the spending power of just £9,481 today.

And so the financial crisis goes on as The Daily Stirrer has always warned it would.

Only a couple of days ago we reported that the USA was about to hit its debt limit, the level of debt legally set by congress as the maximum the government is allowed to owe. US debt is currently capped at $14 trillion by this legal constraint.

As the President and Congress are deadlocked over the raising of this ceiling, Obama refusing to budge on his spending plans which will increase debt exponentially and congress refusing to counternance an increase in toital debt until the president lays out plans to reduce spending, the world's most powerful nation, the economic powerhouse that drives the global economy, is just two months away from having to default on it's loans.

If you think we have had a tough time economically since 2008, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Dominic Strauus Kahn taken to New York's Notorious Riker's Island Jail.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/dominique-strauss-kahn/8517759/Dominique-Strauss-Kahn-arrest-IMF-head-taken-to-Rikers-Island-jail.html The head of the International Monetary Fund Dominic Strauss Kahn has been refused bail and remanded in custody by an American court after being arrested in New York following allegations of sexual abuse. Mr Strauss-Kahn was transferred from a detention centre attached to the Manhattan Criminal Court to the notoriosly tough Rikers Island prison on Monday, a spokesman for the New York City Department of Correction said.

The judge who ruled on the bail application said Strauss Kahn, an internationaal known bureaucrat who would be recognised asnywhere in the world, posed a 'flight risk'.

Defence lawyers said they were considering whether to appeal the bail ruling. Should the judge uphold his ruling, Mr Strauss-Kahn could be held at Rikers throughout any trial.

The Daily Stirrer commented yesterday that the whose thing was begining to stink. Alread several conspiracy theiries are in circulation as to why Straus Kahn might have been stitched up and by whom.

IMF Chief Arrested

by Ian R Thorpe

The news that Dominic Strauss Kahn, head of the International Monetary Fund and French Presidential hopeful has been arrested in New York on charges of sexual assault dominates front pages today. Mr. Strauss Kahn was remanded pending medical examination but whether he is charged or not his arrest is likely to destabilise attempts to resolve the Eurozone sovereign debt crisis.

Read the story of the accusation and arrest in The Guardian

Conspiracy theorists have been busy since the news broke, some suggesting the arrest was a stitch up organised by Europeans who want the Eurozone to collapse so the prosperous nations can shrug off their responsibility to the economic basket cases of southern Europe. Others have suggested French right wing organisations are probably involved, hoping to derail the campaign of the man strongly fancied to be chosen as the socialist candidate in the next French Presidential election.

Another possibility circling the rumour mill is that the arrest is a retaliatory move from The White House coming as it does shortly after the IMF issued a very strong warning to the Obama administration about the consequences of faling to address America,s debt problem.

This one obviously has a long way to run.

Was Strauss Kahn Arrest A Stitch Up

Arrest rocks French Presidential race

As if being led from his hotel in handcuffs was not bad enough, the uberbureaucrat was rocked by more allegations of sexual misconduct dating back to 2002.

Strauss Kahn Faces further sexual assault allegations

As far as The Daily Stirrer is concerned, the downfall of Dominic Strauss Kahn can only be a good thing for freedom lovers. Whether or not he is a sexual bully or worse, he has been one of the leading proponents of a global financial system and has spoken many times of establishing a system of global governance.

Obama Threatens US Debt Default If Government Not Allowed To Borrow Money To Pay Debt Interest

by James Dahlberg

You just have to look on slack jawed that the antics of Barack Obama, putative President of the United States of America, one known as the most powerful nation on earth but now due to several decades of politically correct thinking in high places and just two years of this half - educated clown at the helm a laughing stock internationally and the despair of thinking Americans.

We have a huge budget deficit and are maxed out on the debt ceiling imposed by Congress with the intention of ensuring our nation stayed solvent in the face of demands from do gooders. On one hand we have bleeding heart liberals who think Americans should support he impoverished people of every economic basket case nation in the third world. On the other there is the insatiable appetite for taxpayers money of domestic 'Community Organisers' and civil rights groups claiming to represent the interests of minorities who seem to be more successful at linking their own pockets than helping the people they claim to represent.

Obama warns of new financial crisis if US defaults on debt (If only we saw objective reporting like this in the US media which has become completely government friendly in the past few years)

A debt warning has come from The White House today as the US moves ever closer to a $14.3 trillion debt ceiling, which Congress needs to increase in a matter of weeks to prevent the government defaulting on its borrowings for the first time in history. Is that warning a message from the President telling Americans they must prepare for some very severe austerity measures? No, Obie has signalled that he plans to keep spending at an accelerating rate and that if congress do not approve a rise in the debt ceiling allowing the administration to borrow the money it needs to service its debts the President, The Obamessiah, will allow the USA to default on its debts, thus plunging the world into an even greater financial crisis that we faced in 2008.

This is just the latest demonstration of Barack Hussein Obama's penchant for throwing his toys out of the pram when he does not get his own way.

Given US government debts in the form of bonds, or Treasuries as they are known, are considered the safest asset in financial markets and held by investors and central banks around the world, few people would want to imagine the consequences of a default.

"If investors around the world thought that the full faith and credit of the United States was not being backed up, if they thought that we might renege on our IOU's, it could unravel the entire financial system," President Obama said at a town hall meeting late yesterday.

"We could have a worse recession than we already had, a worse financial crisis than we already had."

The US Treasury has projected that the debt limit will be reached this month, though Timothy Geithner, the Treasury Secretary, has said he can juggle accounts until early August to avoid a default.

The American people must stand firm, Obama's 'loonytoons' spending as the Daily Stirrer calls it has already increased American sovereign debt by a huge amount. Have we any right to saddle future generations with the bill for financing the vanity projects of this jumped up little pipsqueak?

Regulator's Concern Over Falling Education Standards.

by Xavier Connolly

The regulatory body Ofqual will shortly announce an inquiry into allegations made by university managers and employers' associations that the examinations taken by hundreds of thousands of secondary school pupils each year are getting easier.

The investigation which will be the the most wide ranging the education watchdog has carried out, is expected to cover annual rises in average grades, the perceived difficulty of of examinations, the range of courses offered and competition between examining boards. The regulator has already been asked to look into the issue of exam how claims that improving grades year on year are the result of better teaching while employers and higher education institutions complain that many young people are going on to the next stage of their life with a wheelbarrow full of high grades passes yet possessing barely adequate basic literacy, numeracy and communication skills. They will also be looking into how the set tests compare with examinations set at the same stage of education in other countries.

Glenys Stacey, the regulator’s new chief executive said “an objective and constructive debate” on the state of the exam and qualifications system was needed."

The issue has been highlighted as 800,000 pupils across England, Wales and Northern Ireland get ready to start GCSE and A-level exams next week.

Last year, the number of A* and A grades awarded at GCSE increased to almost 23 per cent – the 22nd annual rise and a near tripling in the number of top marks awarded since 1988.

Taliban Revenge For The Killing Of Osama bin Laden Begins

by Ed Butt

The Pakistani Taliban were quick to claim responsibility for the double bomb attack that killed over 80 people in that country yesterday. Their message to the media said bigger attacks were to follow.

A suicide bomber on a motorbike struck at the gates just as young recruits boarded buses to go on leave after their course. Police in Shabqadar, close to the border with Afghanistan, said a second explosion came seconds later.

The attack, in Charsadda district is the the fist in what is expected to be a wave of attacks in retaliation for the Pakistani government's failure to stop the commando raid in which a crack squad of US Navy SEALS allegedly killed Al Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan, on May 2.

Pictures so far released have show a man identified as the SEALS target but who looked nothing at all like the most recent, verified pictures of Osama. Other inconsistencies in stories put out by the Pentagon and the Obama Administration public relations machine, far from providing proof that bin Laden is dead have fuelled numerous conspiracy theories.

For an example a picture issued to the media that purported to show President Obama and leading members of his team watching the fatal raid live via a web feed from a helmet cam. worn by one of the soldiers was quickly identified as having been photoshopped while a military technology expert revealed that the type of helmet mounted camera worn by personnel to document covert operations is not capable of linking to the internet (a fact instantly known by technically literate people).

Western politicians continue to destroy what little credibility they have left in the eyes of the public by sucking up to the White House and supporting Obama's vain, narcissistic and self serving version of events in which he has tried to milk the very obviously staged publicity stunt for political capital to save his failed Presidency.

William Hague, the UK's Foreign Secretary, this morning condemned the Taliban attacks as "cowardly and indiscriminate", yet only a week ago Hague was praising the American government for an attack which violated Pakistani sovereignty and was in total contravention of international law. What makes Hague's hypocritical position worse is that the UK government knows as well as The Daily Stirrer and has probably known for longer that Osama bin Laden died of kidney failure several years ago.

More Graduates Stuck In Low Skill Jobs

by Xavier Connolly

More University graduates, on leaving college are being forced into taking jobs that do not require graduate level educational qualifications due to lack of openings for graduates in the jobs market, according to research published today. The study shows that six months after leaving university, approximately 40% of last year's graduates are unemployed or "underemployed"; working in lower-skilled jobs. This is an increase of about 30% over a four year period.

The figures published by the Association of Accounting Technicians show new graduates to be worst hit by the recession and ongoing financial crisis.

A degree remains a "good investment", says a government spokesman. Well he would say that wouldn't he as the coalition government are hoping to persuade students to take on massive loans to pay for increased tuition fees, loans that only become repayable when graduate level salaries kick in. This means many people, having taken on mortgages or started families will find themselves in a poverty trap, unable to take a job appropriate to their level of education because student loans repayments will plunge them into penury.

The research, carried out by the Centre for Economics and Business Research, forecasts a worsening jobs market for graduates who will leave this summer. It also warns that 55% of the next wave of university leavers will either be working in nongraduate jobs, or will be unemployed, six months after they finish at university.

The report says this raises doubts about the financial value of degrees which when fees and student loans were brought in under the Labour government were sold to pupils leaving school or college as a surefire path to career success and financial security.

"If we are asking people to invest £9,000 a year on tuition fees, they should expect a credible return on that investment," said Jane Scott Paul, the association's chief executive.

The report goes on to conclude "many university subjects are offering very poor returns in terms of improved job prospects". There are variations between different subject areas, with history and philosophy graduates are most likely to be "underemployed". The Daily Stirrer wonders how true this is and what proportion of graduates in graphic design, media studies, art history, social and political science or drama and dance are finding jobs in fields related to their specialist subject.

Graduates in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science are the most likely to be in graduate employment.

The report also looks at graduate unemployment - warning that since the financial crash of 2008 "unemployment among new graduates has risen drastically".

The figure for those without jobs six months after graduating has risen from about 11% in 2007 to 20% for those graduating in 2010.

The study estimates that about 59,000 of last year's graduates have not found jobs, and that unemployment among new graduates is rising to levels not seen since the mid-1990s.

Again The Daily Stirrer has stated many times the target set by Labour and taken up by the coalition government of having 50% of school leavers go on to higher education to graduate with university degrees produces far more graduates than a society needs. Meanwhile we are having to recruit from abroad to fill the need for non professional engineers, builders, plumbers, electricians, mechanics, technicians nurses and all those other vital skills that university cannot equip people for.

EU To Reform Disastrous Fisheries Policy?

by Ed Butt

Those Eurowankers the European Commission policy committee on agriculture and fisheries, almost wiped out fish stocks around Britain and the northerly coasts of Europe with their gobsmackingly idiotic conservation policy of imposing quotas on fish landed, thus forcing trawler operators to throw back into the water fish that were perfectly healthy when caught but are so damaged by being hauled out of the water, dumped in tanks and sorted by burly blokes they have little chance of survival once discarded. Having tucked that very notable achievement under their belts (if only there was a Nobel prize for stupidity and incompetence these guys would walk it every year.; Now, having go the message twenty years too late this bureaucratic monster is planning to reform the EU's fishing industry by giving vessels quota shares guaranteed for periods of at least 15 years.

The commission will issue a proposal on reforming the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) in July, to take effect in 2013. A draft obtained by BBC News outlines moves the bureaucrats claim are 'conservationist' but that environmentalists are already describing as "virtual privatisation of the oceans".

Under the current system up to half the catch of some species has to be discarded because vessels have exceeded their quota, or because the fish are undersized.

The final decisions on fishing quotas will stay with politicians, not scientists, the conservationists claim. There lies the problem. If there is one group of people more likely to fuck up than politicians it is scientists. It was, was it not, the coneheads who proposed the current quota system as a way of conserving fish stocks. And naturally the objections of people who pointed out that fishing crews have no control of what swims into their nets thus the 'scientific' system of imposing quotas on fish landed at port would result in massive wastage rather than conservation were dismissed as unscientific.

Ask a scientists what is scientific and if you get an answer at all it will distill down to; "Whatever I say is scientific today is scientific. It may change tomorrow of course."

Bank Of England Hints At Rate Rise Soon

by John de Roe

The Bank of England Monetary Policy Committee has said its central forecast in updated predictions for the economy is that inflation will return to the 2pc target over the next two years if interest rates ae raised when markets expect. That prepares the way for the Bank’s benchmark borrowing rate to rise from its record 0.5pc low by a quarter of a percentage point around November and to reach 2pc within two years, according to the rate rises it sees markets factoring in.

"At first sight the inflation report suggests a rate rise at the end of this year is consistent with getting inflation back on target in the medium term," said Philip Shaw, an economist at Investec.

Howard Archer, UK economist at IHS Global Insight agreed. "The May quarterly inflation report suggests overall that interest rates are more likely than not to start rising gradually late in 2011," he said.

Under this central forecast, the headline rate of price rises, currently double the Bank's target at 4pc, will not fall back to the target until early 2013, later than previously expected my mainstream pundits but exactly as predicted by The Daily Stirrer.

A Bigger Constitutional Change Than AV And No Referendum

by Ian R Thorpe

A permanent constitutional change that would alter the shape of Britih democracy more than the the proposed switch to the Alternative Vote system which was defeated in last week's referendum is being forced through the parliamentary process by the Coalition government.

The British people have not been consulted on the change. It is wrong and it must be resisted. That, in essence, is the case that will be made later today by Lord Butler. The chances are however you have heard nothing of this.

The Left Is In Meltdown All Over Europe

Tempting though it is to blame the weakness of Ed Miliband's leadership for Labour’s poor performance in the local and regional elections, I doubt Labour would have fared much better under anyone else. As David Goodhart pointed out in The Independent, Labour’s success has traditionally been dependent on an alliance between the traditional working-class and middle-class liberals and that alliance has collapsed. The working class know middle class 'liberals' despise them and would infantilize them for the sake of advancing an agenda of state control.

What Differentiantes A Sceptic And A Conspiracy Theorist

In comments on this thread 'The Birthers Become Deathers' many people were complaining about the way 'conspiracy theorist has become an implicit accusation of stupidity aimed by the sheeple who follow herever big govrernment leads at those who ask intelligent questions, point to inconsistencies in evidence and stories (e.g. Video footage claiming to show multimillionaire Osama Bin Laden watching himself on TV actually featuring an elderly middle eastern man who even in the restricted view available looked nothing like bin Laden sitting in a squalid room watching a small, cheap television - just as we would expect a multi millionaire to do).

The consensus in the thread was that 'conspiracy theorist has become a pejorative term used by a new breed of neo - Nazi to demean and discredit anybody who questions the diktat of big government which these people, who falsely call themseles liberals, would impose on everybody, removing from us the basic liberal rights to think for ourselves and hold our own opinions.

As expected the suppoters of that all - American boy Barack Hussein Obama are yelling 'conspiracy theorist' as anybody who questions the very dodgy evidence of the death of Osama bin Laden in a raid carried out by US Navy SEALS. A comment on the linked article puts the whole conspiracy theorist nonesense into perspective.

"The conspiracy theorist pejorative should only be used against those who have irrational beliefs which are not backed up by any form of conclusive evidence."

Conspiracy theory is all about a lot of little details that are presented en masse to try to imply some sort of dirty dealing going on. When one is overturned a whole lot of other little unrelated details are thrown up in response. There is no reasoning with such people, they want to believe that massive governments are up to something and they alone have the wherewithal to see through them.

What is not a conspiracy theory is the question of Obama's elegibility. In fact the real conspiracy theorists there are those who call the sceptics 'conspiracy theorists' and birthers. Barack Husein Obama is on record as claiming he was born a British Colonial citizen by virtue of his father having been born in the colony of British East Africa (now Kenya and parts of Tanzania). Many peope who are not nutter or tinfoil hat wearers but number among them several lawyers with a wealth of experience of U.S. Consitutional law have shown this alone means there is a case to answer.

It is the supporters of Obama who have tried to obfuscate the issue by claiming the whole case rests on a spurious case that Obama was not born in the USA.

The sceptics must keep digging until answers are provided because those who persist in hising behind legal technicalities and photoshopped documents obviously must have something very significant to hide.

Age Timebomb: Britons Need To Save £16,700 a year MORE To Live Comfortable In Retirement

. The country faces a staggering £9 trillion shortfall in the personal pension savings likely to be required to support the next generation after they stop work, according to a report from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

"Currently, many pre-retirees have little savings and carry the burden of significant debts just at a time when their incomes are about to fall," the reports comments

. A spokesman for the CII added: "A lot of people are going to have their assets depleted by parents' long-term care costs or their own."

The report says the average care home costs £26,000 per year and the average stay is two years, although a significant proportion of people stay for more than four.

Those figures will rocket as people continue to live longer. The proportion of very old people will grow the fastest, says the report, with the number of people over 90 expected to nearly treble over the next 20 years.

The Daily Striirer has reported many times on the age time bomb and the futility of research by medical scientists who claim great triumphs in extending the lifespan but overlook the consequences caused by achieving that while not managing to greatly extend a level of health that permits people to earn a living while politicians eagerly pursue policies that destroy jobs instead of creating them.

Prostitute Claims One Man Has Obtained Three Gagging Orders

The controversy over the legal peculiarity that enebles the righ and powerful to escape criticism for their unacceptable behaviour by obtaining 'super - injunctions, court orders that not only prevent publication of certain stories and allegation but prevent the media reporting that the gagging order even exists.

Helen Wood, a prostitute who when she tried to reveal she had slept with a married actor whose success is built on his wholesome, family man image became the subject of one of these orders found her name was made public while the married actor remains anonymous, said: “There’s one person in particular that I know has three injunctions going on ... involving three different women. His wife’s just had a baby.”

Talking to broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire’s who hosts a current affairs show on BBC Radio 5 Live, Ms. Woods said: “Obviously I can’t go in to which profession he does. Why on earth a judge with that amount of authority would grant something as barbaric as that – when [ a man ] they have seen straight in front of them than on three occasions has been unfaithful and committed adultery?”

The prostitute, who has named England footballer Wayne Rooney as one of her other clients, claimed to have been learned of 'three - injunction man' from a contact in the media.

The actor Ms. Woods tried to expose obtained a privacy injunction after cheating on his wife with Miss Wood has found it increasingly difficult to keep his name a secret after she told a newspaper that he had paid her £195 for sex.

Miss Wood said: “The same with the actor. He tries to come across with this persona as if he’s some fantastic family man. I don’t think a fantastic family man sleeps with escorts.”

***************** OPINION AND COMMEMT Free Schools, The Stake Through The Heart Of The Collectivist Vampire. by Xavier Connolly
Last night saw the launch of Katharine Birbalsingh’s free school in Lambeth, South London. Katherine as you may know, was the teacher sacked by her employers, a local education authority, for speaking out against the politicisation of education. She has since written a bok on the 'progresive agenda' promoted by the state education system, the elevation of education in non subjects like civil rights, gender awareness studies, racial awareness training and multicultural awareness training over traditional subjects like mathematics, language, history and geography.

Many local parents in South London, where the borough coucil is run by a cabal of the most ideologically driven politucal oligarchs ever to get elected very intereswted in Ms. Birbalsinghs venture because at the moment parent have only two options two options when children turn eleven: they can either spend five years in the Maoist indoctrination camp that is a council managed state school or you consign parents can plunge themselves into a life of poverty and debt slavery in order to pay forfor one of the many excellent local private schools.

Five Gallons Of Cheeseburger With Fries Please

by Xavier Connolly

After all those health warnings from finger wagging scientists in the pay of Nanny State we are now told junk food is not only good for us but for the planet too.. One of Britain's biggest green petrol companies has revealed is now reprocessing not just used fat from commercial fryers but chips, burgers pies and pasties, cheese and anything lardy to make fuel for cars and commercial vehicles at a £50m biofuel plant somewhere in Lincolnshire.

Greenergy, which claims it supplies a fifth of the UK's petrol and diesel, (that figure seems very dubious to me) has said production has begun on a process which makes motor fuels from food waste.

The company reports only food that can't be sold, because the products are mis-shapen, past their sell by date or overcooked, is used. The best ingredients are pies, pasties and crisps for their high fat content but other foodstuffs range from taramasalata to oil from fried fish containing breadcrumbs.

Greenergy in partnership with Brocklesby, a specialist in recycling edible oils that would otherwise go to landfill or compost is now converting such waste for biofuel and.

The fuel company initially invested £50m in the biodiesel production facility at Immingham on the Humber estuary to process used cooking oils, which are more complicated to process than "new" oils such as rapeseed.

It already processes more than 20m litres a month of used cooking oil supplied from a range of food producers. Extracting oil from foodstuffs however is a new process. The oils and fats are removed from the food through a system developed by Brocklesby and are then further purified by Greenergy. The finished biodiesel is then blended into the conventional diesel that Greenergy supplies to petrol stations nationally.

Any food solids that remain after processing are currently dried and composted or used to produce energy through anaerobic digestion.

Andrew Owens, chief executive of Greenergy, said: "The quantities of biodiesel that we're currently producing from solid food waste are small, but we're expecting to scale up so that this soon becomes a significant proportion of our biodiesel.

This kind of thing sounds great and makes god copy for newspapers and content for television news programmes. What is never mentioned of course is the huge amount of energy used in extracting and refining the fats and then turning them into biodiesel. My reading on this topic suggests that all critical analysis that is more objective than the maker's press releases and PR material concludes the contribution of such gimmicky products towards solving the world's energy shortfall is negative. We actually have to expend more energy on making the stuff than we get from using it commercially.

Still the gullibility of politicians and the unconscious generosity of taxpayers probably makes it a viable commercial proposition.

Head Teacher Suspended After Staff Strike Over Pupil's Behaviour

When most members of your Daily Stirrer team were at school if we behaved like little shits we'd most likely get a clip from the teacher. Some would fling a scrap of chalk or the board duster, usually a little bean bag type thing with deadly accuracy to make sure they had our full attention. And even at our most disruptive we were relitavely well behaved. Little angels in fact compared to todays mollycoddled, indulged and over protected children.

Under the politically correct regime that runs our schools now pupils are so out of control that staff at one school, Darwen Vale High in Darwen, Lancashire, staged a one day strike last month to express their anger at the way management and head teacher Hilary Torpey interpret policy so that the school always sides with pupils in any matter involving discipline. Around 70 teachers went on strike on April 7, picketing the school gates with placards.

Teachers were said they lacked of backing from Mrs Torpey and school management when they confronted unruly children. Well we wouldn't want the little darlings to feel oppressed or victimised would we?

School governors have now suspended the head teacher, saying "issues" needed to be investigated. The only issue that needs to be investigated is how the wankers who hold management jobs in the education department were ever employed in positions of responsibility in the first place.

A statement issued by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council on behalf of the chair of governors Don Heatlie-Jackson, said: "A number of issues have been brought to my attention as the chairman of the school's governing body. Brought to his attention? Teachers and dissatisfied parents have been beating the knob around the head with them for a long time only to be fobbed of with weasel words by this bureaucract, this placeman, this self aggrandising, patronising, self serving fool.

Like a cornered rat desperately looking for an escape route management has taken refuge in bureaucratic cliches. The statement says a full and proper investigation, a without prejudice decision has been taken to suspend the head teacher of Darwen Vale.It would therefore be inappropriate to discuss this matter further." What that means of course is the head has been gagged and knows full well any attempt to tell her side of the story will result in her finding herself on the dole. Where she will be joined by most of the pupils turned out by the politically correct 'Progressive Liberal' regime of the education committee's chair and his or her 'on message' cronies.

The unusual move – teachers have gone on strike over pay and conditions before but rarely over school discipline – came after Education Secretary Michael Gove signalled a new crackdown on discipline in the classroom. The trouble is in areas run by politically correct, leftie Labour councils there is no such thing as discipline in the classroom. Pupils nip outside for a smoke when they feel like it, talk over the teach, make and receerive calls on mobile phones, spent their time texting friends or listen to their MP3 players.

Simon Jones, from the National Union of Teachers, said: "Union members will co-operate fully with the thorough investigation that must now be undertaken into the allegations that have been made.

"Since members took strike action on April 7 2011, intense negotiations have been taking place with senior local authority officers and the chair of governors and considerable progress has been made towards agreeing strategies that, if properly implemented, should lead to the resolution of this unfortunate dispute.

"We remain committed to securing a constructive outcome for our members and the school and look forward to being able to make this work with the interim management team."

More weasel words, more bureaucratic cliches. What happened to men with balls?

Bin Laden: Al Qaeda Vows Revenge On The West - Sky News

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/bin-laden-plotted-attack-us-trains-022222947.html by Ed Butt
From Sky News:
Interesting - and unorthodox - take on the past week by Rush Limbaugh, the high-profile Right-wing "shock jock" and host of the highest-rated talk show on American radio.

He accused the New York Times of exaggerating the importance of bin Laden - in an attempt to make Obama look good for having killed him.

My friends, this is hilarious. When Obama couldn’t find Osama, even though he promised he would, we were told Osama was of no consequence whatsoever.

This regime, they cannot keep their lies straight. They can’t keep their story straight.

We were told for the last three or four years, ‘Hey, y’know, dialysis. The guy’s a shell of his former self. He’s not even operationally in control.’ We’ve heard this over and over again from this bunch.

Now, the New York Times, in an effort to build up the smallest guy in the Situation Room, Barack Obama, in an effort to build him up, ‘Guess what, folks. Osama bin Laden has been at the helm this whole time.’

Yes, bin Laden has to be built up, has to be amplified, has to be blown up, has to be made the Big Kahuna is order to make it seem like Obama has really pulled off a major coup here.

The Daily Stirrer's Ed Butt comments:

So far nobody in mainstream media has addressed the very credible rumours that Osama was dead years ago.

But let's put him in perspective. Apart from 9/11 which he claimed to have masterminded although there is no hard evidence that he did anything more than incite hatred of the west, he was a failure, an incompetent cock up artist.

It was theDubya administration and the U.S. Security services that built himn into a demon. And once a demo has been created, it cannot simply be killed as anyone familiar with middle eastern mythology would know.

Osama may have been shot or he may have died of kidney failure but his demon will live on.

SNP Scores Historic Win

Election Details from BBC News

The local council elections in England produced the expected backlash against the Liberal Democrats with the party suffering heavy losses to Labour mainly in the northern industrial cities.

Labour, ironically coul turn out to be the big losers of the night however. As results for the Scottisjh Assembly election came in seat after seat previously held by Labour crashed to the SNP.

At the time of writing the nationalists were well in front and on course for an overtall majority in the Scottish Parliament for the first time.

If this happens the SNP will push for full independence from the United Kingdom. This would mean Scotland would relinquish its seats in the Westminster Parliament.

As Scotland is, for hiostoric reasons, over represented in Westminster, the loss of it's MPs, the overwhelming majority of whom are Labour would make it very difficult for Labour ever to govern the disUnited Kingdom again.

David Cameron, though a long way short of being a good Prime Minister is an asture enough politician to understand this.

It will be interesting to see how the independence issue plays out.

Bin Laden Death Pics: Pressure Grows On Obama

by Xavier Connolly

Bin Laden Death Pics: Pressure Grows On Obama
DAily Telegraph Live blogging: Latest ...

Lindsey Graham, a US senator, has waded into the row over Obama's refusual to release graphic photos of bin Laden's body. He said the decision was a mistake that would prolong rumour mongering that bin Laden was still alive. The whole purpose of sending our soldiers into the compound, rather than an aerial bombardment, was to obtain indisputable proof of bin Laden's death. I know bin Laden is dead. But the best way to protect and defend our interests overseas is to prove that fact to the rest of the world.

The raid on the compound in Pakistan in which the world's most wanted man, Osama bin Laden was killed is rapidly turning into a public relations disaster for US President Barack Obama. As the White House is forced to back off from its initial gung ho reports of bravery by the US President (who tried to give the impression he was somehow directly involved in the action) and the team of Navy SEALS who went into the compound, admitting bin Laden (a) did not die firing an AK47 at the American commandos, (b) did not try to use his wife as a human shield and (c) the American government does not have the video footage of the bizarrely misguided 'burial at sea' they claimed to have.

As with the long running and still ongoing controversy over his elegibility to serve as President of the United States (not because of where he may or may not have been born but because his father was never a U.S. citizen nor even a resident but only there on a student visa,) Obama has once again proved himself the conspiracy theorists best friend by showing he expects the whole world to believe every droplet of verbal diarreah that drops from his lips.

Now we have Arab television news services producing eye witnesses (including one of bin Laden's daughters) who tell a very different story. It is reported, and we recommend you treat these reports with as much scepticism as we treated the initial ripping yarn from the White House fantasy fiction press office, that Osama was led out of the building and killed in a gangland style execution either before or after he had been bundled into one of the helicopters used in the raid.

Other witnesses claim no shots were fired within the compound.

The Daily Stirrer sticks with its view that Osama bin Laden has been dead since 2007.

Who, if anyone was killed by the US Navy SEALS dispatched by President Barack Hussein Obama to stage the publicity coup he hoped would save his Presidency, we will probably never know. Another thing we do know however is the report that stock markets and the value of the US$ had soared on the news. The dollar hardly moved and a slight rise in the Dow Jones index was quickly reversed as realisation sunk in that Osama bin Laden was not the leader of the Taliban and was no longer active in Al Qaeda and his death will not bring to an end the Afghan war or lead to quick settlements of the conflicts in Libya, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere in the middle east.

The lesson here is never trust anybody in a position of authority and never believe anything you read in mainstream media.

Latest Polls Suggest Britain Will Reject AV

by Ed Butt

Vitriolic campaigning for the referendum on changing the voting system has opened up a rift between the centre-right Conservative party and their smaller partners in the coalition government, the Liberal Democrats just one year after they joined forces in an unlikely political marriage.

Opinion polls indicate a landslide win for the campaign led by Prime Minister David Cameron to keep Britain's long-standing first past the post system, in which the candidate with the most votes wins.

This will not lead to the fall of the coalition as the Conservatives know an early general election would lead to the return of Labour as a minority government, propped up by an unlikely coalition of Scottish and Welsh nationalists, Irish Republicans and a handful of untra left nutters from the political fringe. The Liberal Democrats who have so far taken the brunt of public anger at the failure of the government to stand up to the dictaors of Brussels, the cuts in public spending necessitated by the financial mess Labour's incompetent economic team left behind and rising prices which are a global problem and beyond the control of one party, would be reduced to an irrelevance.

UK House Prices Fall In April

The average home lost 0.2pc of its value during the month, leaving it costing £165,609, according to the Nationwide Building Society.

The fall follows two consecutive months during which prices have risen, although property values have dropped in three of the previous six months, while they have increased during three of them, showing the current unsettled state of the market.

White House Backtracks On How Bin Laden Died by Ed Butt

Initial claims that the al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden had died while firing an automatic weapon at commandos were withdrawn, with President Barack Obama’s spokesman admitting “he was unarmed”. Another claim that bin Laden was 'a coward to the end' and a dramatic description of him using a woman alleged to be his his wife as a “human shield” and forcing her to sacrifice her life also proved to be false. One of Osama bin Laden's wives was in the compound but in a different room and was wounded but still alive when she was taken into custody with several of the terrorist’s children.

At first the claim was changed to an anonymous woman throwing herself in front of the terrorist to shield him but then the human shield story was dropped altogether.

In an embarrassing climb-down, Barack Obama’s press secretary, Jay Carney, admitted that the previous version of events — which came mostly from the chief US counter-terrorism adviser, John Brennan — had been put out “with great haste”. Great haste maybe but we have to wonder about the competence or hionesty of people who, even in the heat of the moment could concoct such a wildly inaccurate story.

The about-turn left the US open to accusations of a cover-up and led to calls for video footage of the attack, allegely watched live in the White House bu Barack Husseing Obama and his cohorts as they sipped chardonnay and passed around trays of nibbles (guess which bit we made up to make the President and his stuipd sidekicks look bad) Also in response to calls for the video to be released a claim that the US military had footage of the burial at sea of Bin Laden's body were quietly withdrawn.

Not surprising really. The Daily Stirrer reported yesterday Osama Bin Ladenm has been dead since 2007.

. One curious aspect of recent events in the Middle East and North Africa is how unwilling most commentators have been to join the dots between the Federal Reserve’s second phase of quantitative easing and these revolutions. I’m less queasy. Of course, all revolutions have many causes, and I don’t mean to belittle the achievements of brave non-violent protesters, desperate self-immolators, or saloon-car rifle-wielders. But, as a trigger and driver of these events, the Fed seems very clearly to have achieved more in the Arab world in six months than the Pentagon achieved in decades. Obama Elegibility? You Think It's All Over?

When Barack Obama, vain and arrogant to the end finally produced something he claimed was his long form birth certificate you would think from his posturing that he was the subjec6t of some monstrous imposition.

Sadly the little piece of paper he produced was such a blatant forgery I did not even have to put my scren in hi - res mode to see where the pdf had been crudely pasted together from bits cut from other documents.

A .pdf for those who do not know, is not a scan as a .jpg format file is, but a digital reconstruction of data that could come from one or several sources.

Anyway, even the forgery is incompetent and leaves clearly visible the damning evidence Obama has spent two years and millions of dolars trying to hide.

Follow my link to Obama Birth Cert, scoll down to the facsimilie of the document which is the image that was posted on The White House web site, and take a good long look in the bottom left hand corner.

If your screen is not sharp enough to see clearly, even when the image is enlarged, the printed text on the official form reads:

21: Evidence of delayed filing.

And the typed text which you should see clearly says:

Place of birth, Kenya - per Grandmother. The exact meaning of this is clarified by the fact that the signature of the person registering the birth is Madeline Payne Dunham.

If the Birthers are smart they've got him by the bollocks.

Osama Bin Laden's Death And The Financial Markets

Not a subject we would dwell on other than to say, about time too, but go to this Daily Telegraph report Bin Laden Death open the comments and look for one by Destoyerofworlds who comments.

Benazir Bhutto revealed that Osama Bin Laden had been murdered shortly before her own untimely death in late 2007.

watch You Tube clip of Ms Bhutto Now, it seems the news and photographs of his passing were held back by the US administration for an occasion more to their liking.

And here, for people with a strong stomach are the three pictures the OBL death photo are photoshopped from. Left an anonymouse dead person of middle eastern origin, centre the last photo taken of OBL when we know he was alive and right the composite of the two with the top half being the anonymous dead guy and the bottom half taken from the image of the real Osama.

As the old saying goes Truth is the first casualty of war. Even a phoney war on terror it seems.

American Lawyer Attacked By Obama Supporters For Querying "Father's Race: African" On The Birth Certificate.

The story does not matter. It is just another stereotypical illustration of the hate driven madhouse the United States of America has become.

What the Daily Stirrer wants to get across is the background information necessary to make a value judgement on this issue.

Even now, in these politically correct times there is no such race as African. And Obama Snr's birthplace was not Kenya which did not exist as a legal or political entity until 1962, but British East Africa. Obie Snr. however would have given his race as Luo to distinguish him from the Kikiyu, Meru, Embu, Masai and other tribes in the colony. It would not have ocurred to him to say African.

Some other races found on the African continent, Moors, Tuareg, Bedouin, Nubian, Xosha, Matabele, Mandingo, Somali, Hutu, Tutsi, Ubangi, Ubetcha (sorry, I made that one up,) Egyptian, Arab and Watusi. There are many many more. A tribe or nation is a race of people as Celts, Scots, Finn, Norr, Rus Slav, Goth and the other old ethnicities of Europe demonstrate. All have very different cultures and many different physical attributes.

It is not even correct to give "African negro" as the catch all race because there are two distinct racial types among the people of Sub Saharan Africa, broad skulled like the Yoruba of Nigeria, Ghana and west Africa and narrow skulled like Barry and the Masai and Tswana. Then of course there are The San, one of the last hunter - gatherer peoples in the world. There are only about 50,000 San left now and they are genetically, cuturally and ethnically quite different from any other tribe anywhere in the world.

So questioning these apparently misplaced words is not trivial nit picking. Lift one up and look underneath and you peer into the tribal history and sociology of a continent.

And African societies are very tribal.

So Who Is Anti - science? Those Who Question Climate Change Or Those Who Would Abolish Free Speech
It was looking as if the global warming scare was dead, then that Nazi shit Barack Obama, seeing his dream of being President Of The World slipping away, gave his science whores enough money to enable them to kick some life back into it. Now the "science" lobby, unable to put together an convinging argument against their challengers are demanding the abolition of free speech.

CIA - FUKUS axis Meddling in Ukraine Proved - Little Nicky Machiavelli
Not quite a Told you So for Little Nicky to brag about (you know how I hate saying "I told you so", but my friends at The Daily Stirrer did warn of what was coming in Ukraine and told you that the escalating conflict was being exacerbated by the meddling of foreign powers (namely the usual suspects, the FUKUS axis) in ...

Population Is The New Climate Change
As the fake science that was used to push the global warming scare is exposed further almost every day, where do the global elites look now for the scare story that will generate enough fear and panic to drive their global totalitarian government agenda forward? Over population is the new climate change. The Daily Stirrer tells all in this article

Communities Can Beat Corporate Fascism - Local Activists Block Authoritarian Law
Yes, you read that right, a small farming community has thwarted the plans of corporate agrigulture and their buddies in the politicised justice system. Self educated guerilla lawyers found a way to block the corporate giant using it's legal status as a "person" to override local objections to its plans by claiming its "rights" were being violated.

The US Government's Dirty Little Secret: We Spent Your Gold
Some time ago we asked what the US Federal exchange had done with 300 tons of Germany's gold reserves that prevented it being returned to the Germans when they asked for it. Well we didn't stop at asking, we did some digging (not for gold but truth) and what we uncovered is worrying.

Competition Is Sin, Who Said That? Clue: Not one of the usual suspects.
The great appeal of the internet was that it remained free of corporate control. Well not for much longer, the global technology corporations have for years sought ways to control and monetize web traffic. Now they have hit on a solution. Establish a monopoly.

Are We Heading For A Financial Crash? Chief Reptillian Soros Is Betting On It
The financial markets seem to be getting more volatile, with share prices and currency values fluctuating wildly on the slightest indication of good or bad news. what you have to remember of course is that the more the markets fluctuate, the more our pensions and insurances get hit and the more profit those whose business depends on betting on or against shares, commodities and derivatives will make.

Representative government Is Being Replaced By A Global Technocracy
When Peter Mandelson, the architect of the New Labour project that gave Britain it's most authoritarian government in three hundred years and sold out national sovereignty to supranational bureaucracies, says that representative democracy is dying, he does not sound as if he will be one of the chief mourtners. What can we do to rescue our democratic freedoms from smooth faced technocrats like Mandelson?

The Price Of Offending The vaccine Nazis
Ken Follett's novel Winter Of The World describes very thoroughly the price the people ogf Germany had to pay back in the 1930s if they were careless or foolish enough to offend the Nazis.
Naziism (and other forms of Fascism)may now be the politics that dare not speak its name but the ideas are still out there and are still beloved of the elite, just as they were in the 1930s.
Read what happened to the TV presenter who questioned the vaccine nazis

Grand Theft Euro When this report popped up on Reuters news feed, market analysts at Zero Hedge thought the article, titled “EU executive sees personal savings used to plug long-term financing gap”, which leaked a proposal by the European Commission, was a hoax. as hours passed without a retraction appearing however, it became apparent that the story is true ...

Transhumanism: Eugenics By Any Other Name Still Smells As Evil
We have said many times that the science community is at war with humanity. Scientists are out of control, evry day we hear of some new scheme to try to control nature, be it human nature or the climate. Given what we ought to have learned from all previous attempts to control nature we can only conclude that scientists are insane psychos willing to risk destroying life to show off how clever they are.

Will The World Have an Appetite For Chemical Slimeburgers
Though there is no actual shortage of food in the world, not an actual surfeit of people, rather only a psychotic desire for control mong the elite they must invent these things as the means of spreading far and panic about the future that we will accept increasingly fascistic and authoritarian government. Thus the power that be are prepared to invest £$millions in creating food in the lab rather than encouraging labour intensive natural farming.

A senior US diplomat has apologised after having allegedly been caught declaring “f*** the EU” over its position on Ukraine during an apparently bugged telephone conversation between the top US diplomat for Europe, Victoria Nuland, and the US ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt was made public via YouTube...

U.S. Silently Tortures Americans With Cell Tower Electronic Neuroweapon News is starting to leak out of a programme of social control being carried out by the US government on its own citizens. The Obama Administration is using Nikola Tesla's scalar wave technology to psychologically affect tranches of the population. When The Daily Stirrer blogged on Tesla a few years ago we said this application for his scalar wave technology was far fetched. Looks like I might have been too cautious.

The International Elite's Contempt For National Sovereignty
One of our themes in The Daily Stirrer has been the new elise and their push for global government. Here in a cross post with Philo and Sophia we look at the political philosophy behind multiculturalism global view thinking and the push to abolish national sovereignty and hand power to supranational bureaucrats

Financial Crisis? The Dow Has Already Fallen More Than 1000 Points From The Peak Of The Market
The dramatic falls in world wide stock markets over the past week hows that the Daily Stirrer finance expert was correct in predicting this, such recovery in the global economy as has happened since 2008 has been the result of printing money and manipulating the markets. This latest action is part of a massive heist by the bankers to drain the value from our savings and pensions

Euro Nazis and the Brussels threat to democracy
As yet another Euro - nazi political figure, the German foreign minister, breaks cover to say that opposition in Europe to the creation from the EU of a single European nation must be suppressed at all costs, we wonder what it will take to make the millions of sheeple wake up and realise they are following our leaders down the road to Nuremberg.

You Will Be Told Biometric Identification Is For Your Security, But When You Can't Do business without It, It Becomes An Assault On your Privacy
Latest plans to extend biometric security, allegedly for our safety and protection but really we suspect to extend the powers of surveillance enjoyed by central authority, ought to be the straw that breaks the camel's back and triggers wholesale resistance to the march of technology. Are you ready to start defending your freedom?

The Mad Scientists Mania For Genetically Modifying Everything
Genetically Modified (GM) organisms? The science is setttled right, the only way to feed the world's growing population is to accept GM foods and hand control of the human food chain to some of the nastiest, most fascistic corporate busineses on earth, right? Well fortunately it is not as clear cut as that, independent research shows GM crops do not give increased yields and do pose very significant risks for humans, wildlife and the environment.

Why Do Those On The Political Left Assume They Have A Monopoly On Goodness And Truth
Political philosophy: As politics and society become more binary and polarise so that according to a self sppoined elite there are only two possible points of view on any issue, public debate is stifled and the polarised left and right end up attacking the other's right to free speech. It has nothing to do with liberal democracy

Measles Outbreak Traced to Fully Vaccinated Patient for First Time
Government and Corporate propaganda suggests there is no reason why anyone should have doubts about vaccines, they are 100% effective and can never cause harm. Propaganda is however the tools authoritarianism uses when the truth is unpalatable. Read below of how real world evidence exposes more big Pharma ciminality and dishonesty about vaccines

Washington Is Humanity’s Worst Enemy I still come across the occasional American nut job (as many of them are left wing as right wing) who tell me the USA is a beacon of democracy, justice and liberty. Evan as the Obama administration buts its push towards Stalinism into overdrive by advancing the descpicable United Nations Agenda 21 which will abolish private proptery amd make us all slaves to government. Obama famously promised his administration would be a ...

Neuroscientist Sounds Alarm About Proliferation Of Wireless Electronic Technology
We have said in the past science is out of control, politicians and corporate leaders hungry for power and profit are willing to believe the most outrageous claims of academics and scientists and the concerns of ordinary people are swept aside. Fortunately there are some responsible scientists out there who are not afraid to shot at the sacred cows.

Is Biocentrism The Theory Of Everything And Does It Prove There Is Life After death - Weird science
Newtonian materialism and determinism, the orthodox creed of The Church of Scientism, is obviously as wrong scientifically as the idea that God created the universe in seven days arounf 6,000 years ago. While religious metaphor is perfectly acceptable to me, when I question the dogma of science, the science worshippers shout heretic and start a medieval witch hunt. Yet thee are many scientifically and logically sound ideas that offer better answers than determinism.

Climate Controled Communities - Science Leading The Rush To Fascism.
Living in climate controlled cities, communities sheltered under giant plexiglas domes from hostile nature has been an idea loved by sci - fi writers for many years. And as modern scientists seem to obtain their scientific education from Star Trek and The Matrix, is it any wonder they are talking about making the idea reality?

Swine Flu Scam Exposed: Useless Drugs And Vaccines - Lying Science Whores
The propaganda aimed at convincing us medical science can provide a vaccine to immunise us against death is not about the greatest good of the greatest number, it is about corporate profit and political power. Five years after the even the lies and fraud that created the swine flu 'pandemic' of 2009 are exposed. It was just a scam to sell a drug the scientists and manufacturers knew was no good.

Vaccine Tuth: Corporate Profits Are More Important Than Public Health. Yet more information exposing the truth about the vaccine and mass medication industry, because that is what medicine has become, an industry, a cash cow for corporate fascists. And vaccines are one of the biggest profit drivers ...

Is Technology Creating Physical and Psychological Hazards In The Digital Age?
Scientific research used to be the area of work that trailblazers, those with an unquenchable desire for new experience and a hyperactive sense of adventure wanted to be involved in. Now those who label themselves 'scientists' seem to have become the high priests of an ultra - conservative religion, determined at all costs to block progess that may lead to understanding that the dogmas of the past are just wrong

Western intelligence and the mysterious MH370 ping - a conspiracy of intelligence agencies
The mystery of Malaysian Airlines flight 370 deepens as does the ocean in which the authories are pretending to search for the disappeared Boeing 777. The latest reports coming out of the international search effort suggest however that having become a military intelligence operation rather than a civilian aviation matter, the whole thing is descending into farce

The Mummers: The Controlling system And The Illusion Of Freedom
We live in a world of deception, where truth is an ephemeral thing, slippery as an eel and shadowy as a spectre. What we are expercted to perceive as reality is just spin and misinformation designed to ensure the elite maintain their control. There's eff all you can do just get on with your life, say the shills for big government and authoritarianism. But are we really nothing more than slaves of the system?

Primary School Teacher Forced Out For Teaching It's OK To Be Gay
The thought police are well and truly embedded in the education system, the legal system, government and public services, everywhere you look in fact. Their dovtrines of multiculturalism and diversity and they sacred cows of human rights ad equality are suppressing freedom of speech and thought. But what do the politically correct thought police do when two of their sacred cows come into conflict ...

Albert Einstein Talks With Jon Rappoport About Newtonian Materialism and Determinism
Another page from Greenteeth Labyrinth with shines the light of reason onto the scientific hocus pocus and magical thinking that presents fairy tales as science and asks us to believe things that are obviously not true. To read or listen to some of the convoluted logic used to head off critical analysis of the fallactious belief of science you'd think scientists were priests of some nutty religion. Scienceology?

US-EU Trans-Atlantic Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA) Will Have Devastating Social and Environmental Consequences
Can a free trade treaty really be called that when the 'free' is refers to is freeing nasty corporations like Monsanto, Dow Chemical, BP, Exxon, the Drugs and mudicine cartel or the big bankers from having to compley with laws enacted by electrd governments that the corporate interests don't like. Of course not. Read below to learn how globalisation became a polite word for fascism.

Some Experiments In Quantum Physics To Make You Doubt Your Sanity
Nothing is ever what is seems to be. I would have thought most people as they go through life would learn this, but no; I am constantly surprised by the number of seemingly intelligent people who would never dream of questioning versions of events that really are little more than propaganda for those whose interests are served by preserving the status quo. Most science is wrong, far too much of it relies on statistics, a lot more is nothing but mathematical speculation. And yet we are told

What Have We Told You About Mad Scientists And The God Complex
Those people of accuse me of being "anti-science" need to read this. I am not anti - science (science means knowledge so it is not possible to be anti - science. What I am anti is lunacy, giving psychopaths power and wasting taxpayers money - and if that means some twat kills himself because what I write makes him realise he will never walk on Mars or explore distant galaxies, well so what? The world needs less arseholes.

Ofsted: all parents should get a ‘checklist’ telling them how to raise their children
This is surely the most fuckwitted idea yet dreamed up by the fuckwits who populate our universities, living the high life on research grants funded by out money while they dream up fuckwitted social engineering projects to fuck up our dysfuctional civilisation even more. Unless of course there is a hidden agenda ...

Manufacturing Madness: The Pseudoscience of Modern Psychiatry
Mental Illness. If we have not reached it already, we are close to the point at which any minor eccentricity or expression of individuality can be diagnosed as a mental health problem for which some kind of therapy (usually involving the toxic products peddled by Big pharma) is necessary. But is this any thing more that a sleazy scam to make us all patients for life?

Foreign Exchange Market Rigging: Another Conspiracy Theory Exposed As Truth
The people who findly imagine themselves to be realists, rationalists and scientific thinkers have been yelling conspiracy theory for a long time now at those of us with the nous to work out what's really going on. well evidence is overrated because by the time it has come together the scam has been done and the perps (Goldman Sachs and the usual suspects) are away with the money.

Kerry stops Short Of Saying Climate Science Scepticism Is a Crime But ...
Everyone thought the global warming scam had receded into the background but Our New Unhappy Lords can't afford to give up on the carbon taxes they hoped for so easily. Though the evidence offered by the latest IPCC report offers only likewarm support for the idea that climate change will wipe out life on earth, the media hype has gone into full fear and panic mode

Intrusive Surveillance Technology, Internet control freaks and The Orwell-Huxley-Dick Dystiopianometer
Are privacy campaigners right to be worried about intrustive internet technology and the massive databases that log our behaviour and parse the data for patters that enable us to be targeted for advertising? Should we bee worried by surveillance or are those that raise doubts just scaremongering? The Orwell-huxley-Dick dystopianometer is rising.

Heading For The Last Roundup? GM crops a weapon of mass destruction
How did the title of a sentimental cowboy song take on such a sinister undertone in this Brave New World of The Scientific Dictatorship. Well when you remember Roundup is the brand of a herbicide based on the highly potent toxing gyphosate and genetic engineering has turned the food we eat into a delivery system for putting this poison into our bodies, you realise we could all be headinf for the last Roundup sooner than we would like

HAARP: Have Scientists, In Their Quest For World Domination, Opened Pandora's Box Of Troubles
Mention HAARP and you will get the Church of Scientism cultists yelling "Conspiracy Theorist" like the religious fanatics that they are. but HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is no conspiracy theory, it is a well documented and officially acknowledged research project. We know what is can be used for (examined here in part 1 of a series) but what IS it being used for and what are the possible consequences. That will be looked at later ...

New World Order annexation of Ukraine.
Is it true that the uprising in Ukraine was anything but the spontaneous rebellion of a disenchanted population? Was it is fact just another regime change operation orchestrated by the FUKUS axis on behalf of the corporate and financial cartel that has hijacked western democracy.

Giant Whitewash Slick Sighted In Indian Ocean
The Malaysian Airlines missing Boeing 777 mystery is over, the mouthpieces of the New World Orderr declare. Though no wreckage has been found and technological data points to a very different conclusion, the powers that be have decided we must all accept the boeing 777 few way beyond its range, into a remote area of the Indian Ocean well over a thousand miles from land where the pilot ditched it. and we can all stop asking difficult question or else - see!

Now the "science" lobby, unable to put together an convincing argument against their challengers are demanding the abolition of free speech.

Neuroscience Is Wrong. Human consciousness Did Not Spontaneously Occur Because Our Brains Got Big
One of the most obviously bogus of the new pseudo science disciplines in neuroscience. Not neurology, that is study of the brain - neuroscience is the study and subjective interpreatation of statistics obrained from electronically scanning the brain. So can these scientists really read your thoughts as they claim. Wel in a word, NO and anyone who tells you otherwise is having a laugh.

Save The African Clitoris
British Courts have started prosecuting the crime of Female Genital Mutilation, the barbaric practice popular in some African and middle eastern cultures of removing a woman's clitoris and labia at puberty. Meanwhile in Burkina Faso, western poverty millionaires have typically turned this barbaric practice into a monry making opportunity

One In Four Americans Don't Know The Earth Circles The Sun - Does It Matter?
When results of a survey suggested one in four American's does not know the earth orbits the sub, they Church of scientism Cult went into a frenzy about religion and ignorance. but does it really matter that much? OK, it's science but all the same it has little relevance to our daily lives. We examine the bigoted attitudes of the science fan club and their narrow mindedness.

Big Bang, The Cosmos, The Meaning Of Life And You
Scientists are claiming another breakthrough in our understanding of the uiverse. As usual they have found nothing, when science wanders into the territory of philosophy what is usually discovered (apart from being exactly whast the research project hoped to discover, is just a different subjective interpreatation of data to all the previous ones.

Venezuela Deals Blow to Banksters, Global Fascists and New World Order.
A few weeks ago we reported that a US sponsored campaign of civil unrest aimed at destabilising Venezuela was underr way as the latest target for US / New World Order colonisation was engulfed by riots. Unfortunately for the USA's Obama Administration and their globalist banker paymaters, Venezueal is proving just as tough a nut to crack as Ukraine, Syria, Egypt and Afghanistan.

Putin Could Win World War Three Without Firing A Shot.
Leaders of the USA and EU continue on their lunatic course of provoking confrontation with Russia, forgetting Russia's most powerful ally is China and with Iran onside and India, Brazil, Pakistan, most African nations and the oil producers of the middle east not having many reasons to love the west, it looks as if Obama, Cameron and Co. may have misread the situation ...

Ukraine Crisis: Putin Signs Treaty Making Crimea Part Of Russia - EU / US alliance Says Boo!

Modern Maths Teaching Is Making Children Mentally Ill
It is a well established fact that people who are good at mathematics are insane so why are we making such a big deal of abstract maths in proressive education when what most people will need to earn a living is a good command of basic arithmetic - which modern education is failing to give them.

The Crimea Referendum: tragedy or farce?
The world teeters on the edge of war as Obama continues to provoke Putin and the Russian leader coninues to flick V signs at Washington. Agenda 21: Wyoming welder faces $75,000 a day in EPA fines for building pond on his property
Agenda 21 may not have gained much traction here in Europe yet but it is forging ahead with its agenda of seizing control of private property and abolishing individual freedom in the USA where the fascist excesses of The Emperor Obama and his tyrannical administration are at war with the people. Think I'm exaggerating? Fools...

As Crisis Deepens Ukraine Population Show They Still Have a Sense Of Humour
The US administration seem to be set on provoking Russia into war over Ukraine. It is probably the most idiotic episode in the career of the idiotic American rent Boy President Barack Hussein Obama. With China and Iran siding with Russia and Idia leaning in their direction while the European Union cannot push too hard while Russia controls the gas pipelines, the west can't win.

USA, Russia, Economic War Over Ukraine - an explainer
As economic war between the EU / USA and Russia lookes more likely than a shooting war between east and west over Ukraine, we look at the reasons why it has come to this and the likely consequences for our readers.

Transatlantic Trade And Investment Partnership Attacks Democracy
The fascist global government lobby is up to iut's tricks again, not content with trying to force the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) on Asian nations and only succeeding in driving those nations closer politically and economically to Russia and China, the neo Nazi New World Order is not trying the same trick to rob European nations of their sovereign powers and put the banking / corporate cartel above all national interests.

Google's Brave New World Of Artificial Intelligence - And The Destruction Humanity
Almost every day we hear scientists burbling about artificial intelligence and how very soon machines will be smarter than humans. As scientists are nowhere near as smart as humans its hard to see how science can build something smarter. The problem is of course we don't understand what contsitutes intelligence - those who think academic qualifications are the only indicator are retards. So where will this madness to replace us with machines end?

Missing Malaysian Aircraft: Crash Or Cover Up?
How can a modern aircraft equipped with sophisticated (and bomb proof) tracking and security technology which is designed to stay intact through a crash or in flight explosion and keep tramsmitting its location for up to 30 days after being separated from the aircraft, just vanish. Yet that is exactly what we are being asked to believe happened to a Malasia Airlines Boeing 777 en route to China. The deeper we delve, the murkier the story gets ... read on below

There Is A Global Conspiracy Says World Bank Insider
We have reported on many situations that make it obvious our political leaders are collaborating with bankers and global corporations towards, it appears, a global government. Is this conspiracy in the inteerests of we the punters? You can bet your life it isn't. So far however it has been hard to convince indoctrinated Marxists and people who believe singing Kumbaya will make things right, that big government is not our friend but our enemy.

Your Lupins Or Your Life! EU Bureaucrats To Ban Your Favourite Flowers
With a video clip of the Monty Python sketch the title refers to, this Boggart blog satire takes a wey look at new powers being sought by EU bureaucrats that will enable them to order non native garden plants and shrubs to be dug up and destroyed even though these species have been part of European gardens for centuries. Could there be a more sinister motive behind the move? We think so.

Paedo Loving Comrade Mr. Harperson In Trouble Again

Former US Presidential nomination runner Dennis Kucinich says US instigated Ukraine Crisis

The Science Fraud: Many Scientific Research Papers Are Pure Gobbledegook
The war between humanities and science goes on, both in academic faculties and internet comment threads. But in an environment that is increasingly politicised and influenced by corporate profit motives rather than the pure and unsullied pursuit of knowledge, can we trust either side? This article suggests not.

HAARP: Scientists Open Pandora's Box With Experiments In Changing The Climate

Most of the discussion about geoengineering has centred on chemtrails, those persistent vapour trails left by jet aircraft which seem to hand around much longer and behave very differently to the condensation trails we have been seeing since jet aircraft became a regular features of the skies above us

Homosexuality: As a liberal society we have a duty to tolderate, not celebrate.
Even though the government has accepted a very limited definition of same sex marriage the gay lobby keeps raving on about the greates non issue of all time. But in a free society should we be subjected to bullying if we do not show enough enthusiasm for homosexual and lesbian relationships? When did indifference become a hate crime?

World On The Brink - USA And Russia Square Up In Ukraine
It looks like this might be the big one. With all America's plans to destabilise non supine nations in ruins as phase 2, the intstallation of a puppet government proved impossible, Obama who has already been bested by Putin several times cannot back down again. And this time the Russians have forced the crisis in their own backyard where the USA cannot possibly win. Interesting

Climate change and the unsinkable Pacific Islands
Idiots like Cameron and Obama are still swallowing the bullshit of climate science scammers by the shovelful and saying a slight increase in the average global temperature will pose an existential threat to humanity. but one by one the threats are being exposed as hype by research grant phishing scientists, just as the science of mathematical models is being shown to rely on fraudulent data.

Internet Trolls - Are They Contractors Paid To Suppress Open Discussion Of Sensitive Subjects?.
Everyone who likes to follow online debates on sensitive or controversial topics will have encountered trolls. but are these people really just angry and obsessive, excesssively self righteous individuals. Or is there anyting in the claims that they are employed by contractors to suppress open discussion and discredit points of view which do not support government or corporate interests.

Ukraine: Russia launches 'armed invasion' as Obama warns Moscow of 'costs' of intervention
The FUKUS axis - well mainly the US, France and the UK are just sockpuppets as any fule kno - look to have screwed up again. With proof having emerged that the USA and the EU are unrest in Ukraine, Russia has taken steps to safeguard eyjnic Russians in the country. Obama warned of 'consequences' if Russia intervened - Russia sent more troops

Facebook boss Zukerberg Wants To Own The Internet
Facebook's latest acquisition Whatsapp cost $19bn, that's $40 per user. Whatsapp charge their users $1 per year. That means it will take Facebook 40 years to recover their outlay. And people are buying shares in this company? Insane.

Pollution Could Save Us From Climate Change Disaster
As politicians become ever more hysterical and scientists become ever more crazy about climate change because less and less people believe them while more and more climate scaremongering is exposed as junk science or plain and simple fraud, if it really is necessary or desirable to cool the earth's atmosphere, then according to some chinese scientists, the answer is staring us in the face.

So You Think Control Of Media Is A Conspiracy Theory
A story I found on Zero Hedge concerns a factual article posted on the Financial Times website which was quickly removed and never appeared in print. Zero Hedge reproduce the article in full so I was able to verify its content. "Two days ago the FT released a clear, informative and fact-based article, titled simply enough "Gold price rigging fears put investors on alert" in which ..."

Geo - Engineering: The Science Isn't Settled

In another case of scientific dictatorship the American Government and the corporate cartel have invoked a Big Science scam to make $$$billions from geo engineering schemes 'to save the planet from climate change disaster'. The science is settled they tell us. Unfortunately once again it isn't. Geoengineering could have ‘catastrophic consequences’: Schemes to control climate change could backfire, a large group of concerned and influential scientists have warned.

Labour, The Party Of The Rich, Well - Connected, Elitist, Paedophile People
Labours paedophile agony goes on. Put on the reack by The Daily Mail over the involvement of three senior MPs with paedophile equal rights group PIE, the response was to deny the allegations. Unfortunately evert time harriet Harman, Jack Dromey or Patricia Hewitt deny something, The Mail produce documents to suppport their story.

Can Washington Change Three regimes At Once The FUKUS axis - let's be honest, the Obama Administration in the USA, France and the UK are just sockpuppets, may have bitten off more than they can chew in trying to deliveer regime change in three nations at one to satisfy their paymasters the global bankers. The log jam has developed because of the failure to remove assad in Syria and the resolute support of Russia, China and Iran for their ally.

Transhumanism - What The Elite And Their Science Whores Have Planned For You
Transhumanism, the creation of - or turning us into - part human, part machine cyborgs is generating a lot of discussion and a lot of spontaneous ejaculations in the scientific community as they contemplate having their brains replaced by a computer. There are no limits on the ambitions of scientists fantasies, they even envisage creating robots that can interbreed with us, but how much is realistic?
